Can I track my email opt ins using google analytics

Hi everybody,

I have been using some tracking scripts to track what conversion rate I am getting for my squeeze page from different solo vendors.

So I was thinking instead of using paid scripts can I use google analytics to track conversion rate?

Has anybody tried it?

    Yes, set the goal conversion as your thank you page. However, what you should be really doing is split testing. It doesn't do you much good to use GA as you won't know whether any changes in your conversion rate were due to changes in your squeeze page, changes in traffic or seasonal changes.

    Hey man,

    I also have the same problem. I do not track my conversion rates and it makes me powerless when it comes to generalization whether I need to change the solo vendors or the squeeze.

    One guy offered me to buy this WPSoloTracker plugin to track the conversions. WordPress Solo Tracker | Track and monitor all your solo ad campaigns
    Maybe someone already has tried that?

    But Google Anaylitcs data is not in a real time?

    I have been using tracker202 to track my solos.

    You can setup so that tracker202 would show:
    Clicks = Clicks
    Click Throughs = Optins
    LP CTR = Optin rate
    Leads = Sales
