Hi,

I' am planning to change domain name but have some concerns.
Will transferring domain name affecting the ranking?
And what will be the procedure after transferring?

  • You would want to move all the content to the new domain and do a 301 redirect from your old domain to your new one. Do some research on 301 redirects. It will affect your ranking temporarily but if the 301 redirect is done properly and the domain you bought is clean, then you should be fine.
