Have I gotten fake/bot clicks?

Hi,

Put in $100 in one of the more well-known adult traffic platforms yesterday.

It says there that I've gotten about 120 clicks. However, when I check my BevoMedia account (my tracking platform) it says that I've only gotten 27 clicks.

I believe these 27 clicks are UNIQUE clicks by the way. This leads me to believe that only 27 out of those 120 clicks are unique. What are the rest of them?

Bot clicks? Fake clicks?

Is there some way to check this?

I've only gotten 2 opt-ins by the way. For 27 clicks that's not too bad. For 120 clicks however, it is pretty far from OK.

Could be a rival advertiser trying to eliminate the competition by clicking multiple times on your link, with the aim of making your campaign uneconomical for you. I've had this happen to me.

I would query it with the advertising platform you are using. They should be able to check if this is the case and credit you with any clicks that were made dishonestly.

He said: one of the more well-known adult traffic platforms so it's doubtful they would be desperate and send raw clicks and charge for multiple clicks from the same ip...

There will be some loss, but I agree with other posts: check if those are raw or uniques.

Could it be conflicting differences with Raw Clicks and Unique Clicks?

You'll need decent tracking software to be able to tell where it's coming from, how many are unique and raw. If BevoMedia doesn't provide that then you better switch asap. Being in the Solo Ads Industry this is crucial for anyone. I've not heard of what you're using but seems like something is playing up.

Is the page your sending traffic too a good converting page?

I don't know, that's what I'm trying to figure out.

It should be though. The visitors get pre-sold in the banner ads so they know what's coming. I use 5 different landers "Lead Pages" style.

It could be the difference between Raw and Unique clicks, but I would definitely get back to the advertising platform to get clarity.

Most likely. There are so many Fraudulent Networks out there, that Fake or Provide Low Quality Traffic. Ive literally wasted thousands accross Multiple networks with no ROI, until I found an amazing traffic source. Ive even created a WSO my Experience.

    Good luck eitherway!

Did they say 120 unique hits or 120 clicks?

Who is the well-known adult traffic platform?

PM me with details so I can help you out.

Go to Visitor Spy in your Bevo Media account and you can see the IP and location of every click that has hit your campaign. Then do a Reverse IP lookup (you can google on) to see who owns the IP.

Chances are its prob the traffic source's approval team making sure you arent doing anything shady. could be a bot too.

Let me know if you have any further questions about Bevo

That's why I don't buy traffic. I have been burn't a few times. Don't some of these guys realize that many people are tracking their campaigns yet? I know new marketers probably don't even know what tracking is but marketers with some experience under their belts do track everything.

Go back to your tracking stats and make sure you fully understand how it works. Don't get offended if you already know how it works entirely. If your tracking is working and you only got 27 clicks, go back to the traffic retailer and ask them.
