Need advice - Stucked with my infoproduct

Hi guys,
I`ve been reading you for some time, but I haven`t posted anything yet. I guess there are some more experienced colleagues who could give me a good advice in this moment. Situation is next:
  • I`ve been developing an infoproduct for 2 years. It`s been tailored to one similar infoproduct for which I know generates very good profit. So, I`m sure that it should start to "work" sooner or later. It is a solid infoproduct. Clickbank based. It represents an erotic arts course (let`s say on "sexual skills" topic). It`s a multimedia course. It contains video, audiobook and ebooks. Landing page is very professional, as well.
  • It had a good launch with nice traffic rise (conversions as well) until penguin update hit it a year and a half ago. Did some white/grey regular SEO stuff, but then happened what happened. Now I have only occasional conversions.
  • Adwords marks it as an adult site, so I have very limited possibilities with advertising over there.
  • Tried with Trafficjunky and Trafficholder but it`s simply not converting with that low quality traffic. I think that I generally have problem with these porn networks since my product is not "so porn", but more educational.
  • I am currently trying to move something with AdXpansion. Will see how will that go...
  • My question for you is - what else do you think could work? Am I missing something here?

PS - Since some of you have noticed that I am not an English native speaker (pardon me), I would like to apologize for all the errors I made while writing. I have no time nor want to pay someone for proofreading forum posts. However, my infoproduct, landing page and all additional promo texts have been proofread by native speaking professionals. Thanks for your good will.

Infoproducts have been proofread together with every sentence of the landing page.

      Thanks for noticing anyway...

Who is to say this guy didn't outsource/get a ghost writer for his info product? About your problem. Get a new domain? Might not be something you want to do, but if you can't recover from the Google slap then it may be something you need to consider. Also, what about advertising on "adult" sites? Doesn't have to be really hardcore stuff but sites that are in the same kind of market/niche.

Why on earth are you guys laughing? The OP seems to be a genuine person who really has a legitimate question.

I thought we were all adults here...

Sorry, I just had to come on here and say something. It really bothered me.

Sorry, But I see far too many stories every single day, where they can barely type english, Yet want to market to English Speaking Counties and make a Shed load of Money in the Process. . .

Never meant to be rude, Just it tickled me when I repeated it out loud.

          Ok, I hear you.

But there are still people behind the screen names, and no need to hurt anyone.

If someone comes to blatantly spam their garbage, I'll be a little less worried about sticking up for their feelings...

First of all, everyone downing the OP for his apparent lack of English, doesn't mean a thing as long as his website and product was edited by a professional. He is asking for help. If you are trying to market a landing page, it can be very tricky with a product people are not familiar with. You have to take up such strategies as article marketing and social media. I would start there.

Well one can make the natural assumption his product was inferior, with his Poor grammar - Just like a Knock off Ebay product. He has now edited his post, and a Native English speaker proofread it. This would have been more helpful for everyone involved

Feel free to White Knight all you want - Ricardo's comment made me laugh when said out loud. Now back to helping.

i work online over 10 years.
My English is suck big time, but it never was a huge problem.
Yes, i spending over 1000$ a month just to proof read everything i write, it's very time consuming as well, but it's possible.

Don't think it's that easy to learn to speak like a native.

A suggestion: try to learn from the proofreader's comments/corrections and see which mistakes you keep making so you don't make the same ones.

After a while you can get the hang of it, slowly but surely.

      Yo. Sup?

Depends. Do you want to learn standard English - or the crap some of our own native speakers pass off for English?

People can be kinda crude, flippant, and even more than slightly rude sounding in here -- but all the comments can be used as a tool instead of an insult. If someone makes a comment - you know their first impression (posts often represent first impressions more than well thought out commentary. It's conversation in here, not dissertations). If you are getting comments about your grammar - then it's a point for you to really watch your grammar if you want to reach people. Nobody said that's easy, just the way it is. If you are having your products and site edited by people who are native speakers of the languages of the people that will be viewing your site, then you're doing okay in that area.

My comment on conversions is -- Clickbank might not be the medium you might want to be using. I quit them years back.

Redo your site and put it up on another medium that can manage affiliates for you and see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't help, perhaps your product or page needs work other than just proofreading.

Reading through this, despite the snipes, I find some things that haven't been commented on:
      1. Why did it take 2 years to develop this infoproduct? Language isn't a barrier, it's the process. After 2 years, the information is already out-of-date.

      2. How do you know or did you know the other product you are modeling was profitable? How many were returned? How many people did charge-backs once they paid for it? Unless it was your product, you don't have the right numbers to go by for creating your own. Traffic means nothing, satisfied buyers is the main check.

      3. This one was simply too obvious and I'm surprised many of my fellow Warriors missed it - who are you marketing this product to? Men? Women? Single Dads? The market determines where you put your advertising, not dumping it in front of people and hoping they are interested.

My suggestion would be: Go back to basics, including how you are pricing this. It seems you're having the most problems because on one hand you say it's 'educational' and on the other it's perceived as 'porn'....something there isn't clicking.

Let's cut to the chase here: Is it Kama Sutra or Hustler?

Listen the first thing I noticed that was crazy to me was you've been writing and info product for 2 years by the time you release that to the public it will be no longer relevant as the above comment stated.

    Step 1- Find Niche
    Step 2 - Validate Niche
Step 3 - Give Niche What They Need (Some Free Value Relationship Building)
Step 4 - Create Product in 2days (At top of my game I knock them out in 2 hours)
Step 5 - Write Sales Page
Step 6 - Release To List And Public
    Step 7 - Collect Feedback
Step 8 - Update Product And Repeat

Not 2 years it isnt worth it JUST GET IT DONE
