Hi Guys

My adwords accounts has just been froze by google because they say 2 of my sites violate there T+C... even though I do NOT even promote these sites anymore, j(they states because there in my campaigns, i might promote again).

I have looked at these sites and I am baffled to why they have banned them!

I called them and they said i must adhere to their T+C and put things right . (even though i do not know what they want me to put right!)

The question I was going to ask, apart from facebook, bing and yahoo etc, is there any other methods to promote these websites, as I do not like the idea of having to jump through hoops for these guys!

any help would be appreciated!

Google is becoming too dominant and thinks it can easily bulldoze the small players. The sooner they are controlled by the competition or antitrust bodies the better.

Other ways to promote your site would be through blog commenting, forum posting, youtube etc.

I don't think Youtube is a viable option if you are banned from Adwords.

Edit: If you are thinking about ranking YT videos on G etc., then it is alright. I am thinking the paid side of it.

What exactly were those sites selling?

One website was gloves... but no idea what they did not like about this site..

the other was to join an organisation that I run globally. again nothing on this website was out of line...

I have a title on there that states 'Earn a full time wage, working part time hours' ... i think this is what they did not like... but i have been promoting this site for about THREE years with google, with no problems!

Agree with the first comment above and they have got way too big for their boots now... i would rather look elsewhere to promote than give these guys anymore of my money!

Same thing happened to me. After deleting all my campaigns from my adwords account, they send me a late email stating that some of the campaings violate their TOS. And got my account banned.

I guess it's just a matter of time when Adwords decide that they don't want to do business with you.

Bing is great. But they don't so much traffic. But CPCs are way cheaper.

    Other option would be Facebook.
