Having hoplink issues...help?

Hello,

Novice question here, advice needed...

I am promoting the a clickbank product to a small list I have built over the last 2 months. The problem is everyone I have sent my link to says that the video/page will NOT load...It is a brand new affiliate link, the only thing I did was use an anchor text in the email I sent out to hide the long affiliate link. I also tested the link myself to make sure my affiliate Id was being credited. What could be the issue?

My question is, should I create a brand new hoplink?

Why does the page/video load correctly on my computer but no one else's?

Is this a cookies issue, if so how do I fix this?

I am really confused and would love some assistance!

Appreciate any help,

Evan

      Could it be a browser issue? So video will show in some browsers and not in Others.

      Also, when you say "every one I have sent the link to says the video does not load" are you referring to all people on your list? The reason I ask is because, if it is just a few friends, then it can be a Browser issue and they should try viewing the page in another browser or need to update the browser they have. It could also be that their computers lack the necessary plugins to play the video.

      However, if it is really all the people on several computers, then the problem may be with link you supplied. Not necessarily the hoplink, but rather that way you created your anchor in your email broadcast. Check properly to see if you did not miss anything.

      If everything is fine, then try creating a new hoplink.
      Try to mask it with a simple refresh on your own hosted domain and see how that works.

      eg.
      Create a new page (For example "getthis.html") on your won website, then get your hoplink and insert it in this html code below:

      <html>
      <head>
      <meta name = "robots" content = "noindex,nofollow">
      <meta http-equiv='refresh' content='0; url=YOUR NORMAL HOP LINK GOES HERE'>
      </head>
      </html>

      Save the page and upload it to your domain. Then in your email, instead of sending them to your hoplink, send them to your created page above (i.e http://www.your-domain.com/getthis.html) . That should be able to work

    Sorry I did not mean to say everyone on my list, but a handful of people have said that the video didn't load and some were only getting pictures and not the video (basically like the pages were broken).

    The link works fine on my computer and I have contacted the product owner for support. I am just worried I will not be able to tell if my links are working or not. And I would hate to keep bugging my list asking if the pages are loading correctly...

    One of my subscribers said she was trying to view the clicbank page on her phone...so maybe that's why she couldn't pull up the video, yet the clickbank product has a mobile site...
