Competition Analysis Recommendations.

Hi folks Happy New Year and all.

I'm Keen to know what others are using for competitor/keyword analysis I know Market Samurai fell off a little and at the time SERP IQ was gaining traction.

Interested to know what recommendations are out there so far

Seem to be working but in this game its best to remain an eternal student forever open to learning new things.

    I used the paid version of SpyFu it is well worth the money. Like the above post mentions even the free version is very good.

    I've used market samurai and long tail pro. I find myself using long tail pro MUCH more often than market samurai.

    These software's (MS and LKP) are great and fun and can be faster than using Google keyword planner, SEMRush, and MajesticSEO.

    If your using LongTaiPro to see if you can out-rank top 10 sites for a keyword....you really need to know how to understand the PR blacking among other things more. So its not a home run keyword research tool.

    For example see this keyword below out ranks the competition for almost 10k local search keyword and it has the lowest Page authority, page juice, Keyword Comp score...ect

      Do you have any links to some sites for some tutorials on picking
      the right keyword so we won't waste a lot of time on the wrong
      keyword.
