$40 to Spend, Where Would YOU put it?

If you would be so kind, please let me know what your strategy would be if you wanted to get the most bang for your buck with $40 (do the most good or get the most traffic).

Would you boost a post on a page on Facebook? Buy some Fiverr gigs? Buy some articles and guest post them somewhere?

Let me know what YOU could do the most good with and why, there are no wrong answers so relax and have some fun! :-)

Peace,
EarL J

Forty bucks won't get you much traction, I would use it to purchase Dave Ramsey's Money Makeover and follow his advice and baby steps to handing one's financial matters first (paying off debt, having an emergency fund, funding your retirement, etc.).

And then, and only, then would I even think about investing in things for my business.

100% I think the absolute best way to spend $40 would be launching your own WSO. It cost exactly $40. I can pretty much guarantee you will make a profit and even if it isn't a huge success, you will learn a lot just by jumping in and doing it. I don't know if you are into web design, but your signature seems to imply that. You could launch a graphic design or web design WSO. Otherwise you will blow through $40 pretty fast with nothing to show for it with most other methods.

Thank you for all your suggestions, I'm actually doing one of them now, I'm boosting a post on Facebook to try and get my business page likes over 1000. It will take a miracle to do though, it's not working very well so far! LOL

        No worries, thanks again!

        Respectfully,
        EJ

I just want to clarify if someone is a first-timer they'll need to invest $37 for the War Room and then $40 to list the WSO.

This is probably the best advice given. However your question is where would I put it? Me personally Id take my lady to the movies and then make her a nice dinner afterwords (cant get both for only $40) .. $40 is not enough to really start any kind of IM business with.

I'd probably order a pizza with all the toppings. When I pick it up, I'd ask for a application for pizza delivery job.

Deliver pizzas till I save up $2000.

Set up 20 $100 ad campaigns over the next couple of months to gain some experience. Reinvest all my profits back into buying more advertising. Mostly solo ads.

Option 2: This was already mentioned by Andrew Stevens. It appears you have some technical talent. Perhaps a custom landing page design or graphic pack or custom graphic service wso would make you some seed money so you can really take paid advertising or paid promotional methods more seriously.

Get hosting and an autoresponder. Both are cheap to start you could probably get each for $1 for the first month.

After that you could use the $38 to buy Facebook Ads for the keywords that relate to your website.

Hopefully it will generate some additional revenue for you to repeat the advertising step.

Good luck $40 is a tough place to start.

assuming you have a good offer and know proper targeting, I'd do a promoted page post PPC in Facebook, that will give you the most bang for your buck if you do it right.

You'll need a good offer, you'll need to target the right audience, and you'll need a good story

Hosting and a domain name. I would post a ton of content on those sites and over time get noticed by the search engines. If you can squeeze in an autoresponder I would definitely build a list.

Free search engine traffic propelling your first list should give you enough traction over time to start a nifty little income you can use for other larger projects. With $40 you're looking at investing time rather than money to make this work. Not impossible though, some people on this very forum used those three basic components as the foundation to create their businesses.

    1. Create my own product.
    2. Give out free review copies.
    3. Get a WSO up and running.

If I would just starting out, I would did exaclty as I did 6 years ago:
    1. Buy a domain name ($10)
    2. A hosting account ($10/month) = 3 months of hosting.
    3. Write a lot of content
    4. Monetize with adsense or affiliate programs.

Put them into hosting and get yourself a landing page. Drive traffic (You can do this for free) to it and collect leads, provide good content (make it yourself so it's free), recommend awesome products.

You will waste the money really really fast on traffic, so just don't do that!

There are tons of free traffic sources out there, DO THAT!

If all I was able to spend was 40 dollars then I would contribute it to those whom I knew really needed the money. Where it could make a even a small difference in their life for the better. Then I would come up with a plan to obtain becoming well versed in marketing, advertising and/or getting traffic. At that point it would become much easier to turn 40 dollars into 400 and 400 into 4000.

If you buy traffic with the $40.00 send it to squeeze page that offers a good free product and start building a list. You would just be wasting your money if you buy traffic to send to a product unless it was something of great value to people.

I would re-engage existing customers/contacts by uploading my email list to facebook for cheap targeted ads, and then using promotional post to send them to a free offer if they share the offer with friends.

Then that offer would entice both them and their friends and friends of friends to upgrade to a better version for a small amount of cash, and put them into a sales funnel for upsell/downsell or reputation funnel for a long term campaign.

Well the Facebook ad is bombing 10,000 views, ZERO page likes, 16 regular likes.

It's safe to say that Facebook page likes aren't my 'gifting', terrible results. Perhaps you can point me to a good (FREE) resource that I can learn how to get better results? Can't find anything in the War Room, does anyone know of a good whitepaper in there that I can try out?

I'll get traffic for the $40 I'm not worried about that, but I'm here to listen to folks who think different than me, I like the input and I'm thankful for what everyone has shared so far.

Thank you for taking time to post.

    Kindly,

Well, without any other requirements in your question, I would consider spending $40 on a new Wordpress theme.

I think it's important to find the right theme. On top of that, many of the newer ones are incredibly responsive and will allow you to target the mobile market without any extra effort. These themes work wonderfully on any browser and have a number of additional features.

For about $40 you could find a really high end theme with tons of extras. Applying that to a website will boost the perceived value through the roof. This will then reflect back on everything you do with the site.

It's sort of a value adding investment, rather than a direct, measurable return for the investment like buying traffic.

With $40 i would buy me a domain, cheap hosting, sign up for several affiliate
or CPA networks. I would also buy a $5 Gig on Fiverr to do some SEO of
some sorts to boost my website ranking on Google.
Share your website link on Social Media join groups and forums and
let persons know about your website.
Well that's how i started out and look at me now....... LOL

$40 isn't even enough to get by with a decent SEO setup (and SEO is more time consuming than it is money consuming). you'll make nothing if u spend that $40 on paid traffic considering all the testing u'd need to do.

    so with $40 i'd launch a WSO

I think the biggest lack is not in the marketing, it's in our mindset. I would spend it on content that would help me expand my thinking and belief in myself to a point that would drive me to find what I needed to know to truly be successful and then to do it like never before.

    Hello,
I think $40 is not very helpful to you in IM niche but still there always a way be an affiliate and start promoting other products or Create your own Product and sell it.
