(Maybe the situations could vary depending on the Affiliate Merchant's Sales letter and its quality ?)
Is there clear cut evidence that a link in the email funnel to a pre-sell or review page (and then a link there going to affiliate's site) has higher conversion rates for a sell than a link going straight to affiliate's sales letter in the email ?
Isn't there some redundancy doing this especially if the affiliate's sales letter is great to begin with ? At first I stated in another thread that it was. But maybe now that I think about it after another Warrior pointed out ,this presell or review page could be helpful.
But why not just put a solid paragraph in the email follow up that you talk about how the product could benefit them and after that put the link going straight to the affiliate merchant's sales letter at end of email ?
Rather than go to another page and have a Review or pre sell ?? Is this for reinforcement or could it be overkill ? ( As I thought it was before)
Thanks for any input .
