I think it's a waste of time..
I never suspend my gig's, I just extend the days instead.

Think about it.. Someone wants a service and they see that your gig
and you are on Vacation...Bye Bye I'm looking else were.

Ain't no body got time to wait for you to come back from vacation!!

This would've been useful when I was still doing fiverr. I couldn't keep my gig active for more than a day or two because I would just get swamped with orders. I then had to take some time off and it dropped my rating.

It is about time
I always wanted a feature like this when i was active on fiverr
But anyways good going
The only thing i hate about fiverr is their cut which is 20%
It should be 10% or less
