Where do i start with a wso?

Hello fellow warriors.

If i wanted to do a wso where would i start?

I have an idea i have been testing for the last three months that has worked so well for me and my business partner we believe it could be a fantastic wso.

I myself have not been on the warrior forum for long but my partner has but neither of us have the knowledge of how to build a wso.

If anyone could point us in the right direction would be very grateful.

Regards
Rob & Becky

Step 1: Create a product based on your idea. This includes going to Fiverr to get a nice ebook cover.

Step 2: Invest in some solid sales copywriting

Step 3: Invest in a WSO offer page graphic. This is a big picture that loads that includes the text of your offer.

Step 4: Contact solid WF members to give free review samples to. HINT: Pick members who have been around for a while and have been thanked by other members at least 400 times.

Step 5: Make graphics off the favorable reviews. Contact potential JV partners (these are people with lists). Show them the list of favorable reviews. Arrive at an official launch date.

Step 6: Get attention-grabbing subject text and other 'soft' text from your copywriter and include your big ad graphics. Pay the WSO fee and post on launch date.

Step 7: Get approved by Warrior Plus and tell your JV partners so they can make affiliate $$$. Notify them.

Step 8: Be proactive with questions asked about your product.

Step 9: Promote your product in your sig lines on many IM forums.

Step 10: Do supplementary promotions via solo ads (targeted) and PPV to email campaigns.

Thank you for your very detailed reply.

Do you have any recommendations on where we will find good designers for the graphics?

Also where would find a good copywriter?

      Thanks again for your reply.

You certainly do not need a designers, if you have a good product and a good copy-its enough...look in the best selling WSOs and you see that alot of them have a simple text sale page.

Fiverr is the best and cheapest place to go if you want to get good graphic designers for e-book covers. I'm not too sure about how good their copywriters are because I haven't used them before(and copywriting may be more expensive than designing your cover in general).

Derek and his team helped me with a good sales letter when I launched my WSO. Check them out and see if they are a good fit for you

Well - that's where you'd start. Work around that idea and package it as an eBook/video course/or even membership.

Then, do everything that WriteAway said.

Hmm. Odd number to pick, don't you think?

        Oh, ok, I get it.

Believe it or not, it's not all that difficult to create one yourself in Photoshop.

Alternatively, post in this section --> Wanted - Members Looking To Hire You

If this is step one then you forgot these two.

Step -1: Go on JVZoo a W+ and search for similar products and see how well they sold

Step 0: Buy a War Room membership

Also its a good idea to contribute to the forum a little bit first before doing a WSO.

Do a search for mizesean in the special offers forum. His wsos gives very good advice on starting a wso.

The best way to start is by researching what other warriors have done..successfully and those that did not do well. You can search the war room. There's a lot of good info there.

There are several wsos that are good resources. I mentioned the above because it is the most recent and explains a way to do wsos that allows the average warrior to, pretty much, always be profitable with wsos.

My business partner has been on the warrior forum for two years and has contributed well, he is also a war room member.

We have done the research and believe there is nothing similar to what we have to offer. Not sure if that a good thing or a bad thing.

        Thanks for the reply's

Hi - don't take this the wrong way - I am only pointing it out because it's the kind of thing that can put a small percentage of people off and I am sure you'd rather get the best click through rate for your signature as you can.. but "there" should be "their" - changing that should give people more confidence to click on the link..

I understand when people say they are marketers not grammarians, but small things like this can add more to your exposure.

        All the best
        Dave

If it makes you money, keep it for yourself. If it looks like it could make money, but in reality, it doesn't, thats when you make a WSO, just like the others.

Writeaway covered most things for you.

I would add that you could create a JV Page and post that on the upcoming launch notification boards. That could attract some potential affiliates.

The most important factor is having a product that people want. The greatest copy in the world isn't going to sell a product that doesn't appeal to organic WSO traffic.

For your first WSO, don't have really high expectations. Presumably you're starting off with no list, no jv partners and no reputation. Chances are that you're not going to sell multiple hundreds of products. If affiliates do happen to pick the product up and that does happen, then think of it as a bonus.

If this was already mentioned I'm sorry, I'm having a "lazy day" and didn't read the whole thread...

Your first step should be to create free report closely related to the product you plan on selling. Describe what the product/system is in that short free report without giving too much info away and use it as opt-in incentive to build a list. This will give you a head start and you'll have some pre-qualified potential buyers when you're ready to take the plunge...

You must be a War Room member and that is $37 as a once off fee. One benefit of that is that your pm box then can take or send up to 500 messages instead of the 10 you are now restricted to.
You need that in case you get pms about your WSO.

Another tip, depending on the type of product you have and your budget, is that sometimes you can use walkthrough videos just as successfully as long copy.

If your product is quite practical, often a series of videos showing people exactly what it does and how can be very effective.

You can produce these yourself using free screen capture software.

The main thing you're trying to achieve is showing folks the value in your product, and if what you're offering is something that lends itself to showcase, videos can do that very well.

If this is something that is a fit for what you're doing it can save you a lot of time and money that would otherwise go into writing copy.

If I would create a new WSO today, I would go to Warriorplus Alerts and check the Most Popular Keywords.

That will give an idea of what is popular and sell best as a WSO.

Other than that, writeaway explained very well.

If you believe in your idea - just get it out there and see what happens.
