Where is the best site to sell the rights to an ebook I wrote?

I do not have the distribution mechanism to sell the ebook/training plan myself. What websites/forums have a classifieds section where I can sell the rights to my ebook?

Note: I have found some online, (WF classifieds for example), but these cost money or require a person to be an established user. Is there any websites specifically for selling the rights to an ebook or training course?

Thanks so much for the help.

Any site that sells PLR, MRR products is a prospect. Do a search for private label rights and master resell rights and you'll have hundreds of possibilities. Good luck.

You could use a service like JVZoo or Clickbank. They would provide the whole "sales and distribution mechanism" as well as give you the opportunity to allow affiliates if you want.

You could sell on eBay but I'm not 100% sure of their digital products policy.

You could sell yourself. Create a simple website with a PayPal button and link from your signature in forums, SEO, PPC.

      Thanks for the help everyone.

How much do PLR books usually go for (if the content is good)?

Also, I could set up a page with a buy button (and I even have a shorter version of the ebook that is free). But it seems getting non-paid traffic or affiliates is quite the challenge.

Is it better to try and make ebooks/training courses and market them myself? Or should I specialize?

      Thank you.

Are you referring to Digital Point forums? Do I have to be an established member to post in their classifieds section?

For the love of god, dont sell it on Digitalpoint lol.

I suggest you do the following like this auction here on flippa

Set up a website for the eBook, like have a sales page made. Costs like $300 ish
List the site on flippa. Say that it is not making money as you just published the site. Tell them that the main item in the auction, is the rights to the ebook, that they can edit it, say they wrote it etc.
People will buy because a "ready to sell" virgin product is extremely valuable.

Thank you for your answer. Flippa does sound like a good idea.

So you are saying to pay 300 bucks to have a sales page made? I might be able to make one myself. But I wouldn't want it to cost more than the book is worth. Right now, I checked, the book is 55 pages of solid content. I would have to make it bigger (or transform it into a training course), to increase its market value. How much do you think someone would pay for a how-to book that is well researched in the dating niche?

Go to Amazon, look at dating books and see the comments and then look at number of pages to get an idea on pricing. Comments usually mean sold books and would give you a comparable value.
