Are there any websites which allow blog owners to scout out people willing to write guest posts for their blogs?

    You can also post on forums. This is where I always find my best guest bloggers. Just ask for a PM with credentials.

    You can proactively go to blogs related to your niche and contact them. Thanks to cheap outsource sites, you can buy the labor to do this for dirt cheap. You should apply a quality filter so you can gain some measure of confidence that the people who will be writing guest posts for you can produce the quality you are looking for.

    Blogger LinkUp is another option.

    It's an email three times a week and you can post your blog + requirements and also find people offering content.

    The website that Alex mentioned also has a WordPress plugin you can use to find articles written in your niche by random bloggers. You take them as is and post them to your blog with accreditation to the original writer.

    Blog commenting is a good way to build relationship with bloggers and once you build a good relationship, you will be able to invite them to your blog. It really works and you can get higher quality contents than myblogguest.

    If you want to find high authority sites in a matter of minutes do this!

    Go to Google, type in your niche, keyword then add "write for us" in brackets.

    For example:

    Healthy diets "write for us"

    Put that into Google and you will find sites to guest post on.

    I do this for every niche site, then get a writer to create many articles and I send them out to loads of high authority sites , this is because all these sites accept guest posts, Just make sure your content is good.

    I found a strategy before that is somewhat similar to what Larry is telling you.

    What you do is search

    "keyword" guest post

    then you will see blogs with guest posts.

    You can contact similar blogs in your niche and offer a guest post trade, i.e. you write a post for them and they write one for you. It's mutually beneficial so most blog owners are receptive.
