Hey guys need some help with a dilemma with a Clickbank Product and a Upsell with it.....
Okay I have been in CPA and Adsense since the beginning of my IM carrer the last 6 years. Just recently Iam getting into CB products and building a List with Article Marketing Syndication .
Here is the problem. One product I will be promoting I really like. I got almost all the follow up messages completed with it. My articles, landing page are done etc...
An Not only did I get a Review Copy I have been using the Core of the product for years for my personally use and it is not a IM related product.
So here is the thing. When Subscribers of mine Buy the program they download the page and get their product and there is several bonuses to download as well as the crux of the program to download.
Along with all this is a Link to click on it. In big Red Letters it says IMPORTANT
And then the Upsell product is offered with all this and it goes :
"Fortunately I know David xxxxxx' personally and have obtained a special 30% discount link for you. Want to find out more? Click here to see a more detailed description of the product.
PLEASE NOTE: You must order from this page to receive your discount. "
It is a great upsell product that totally compliments the already bought original product.
But it turns out I cannot get a Commission of any kind from this upsell on this product which is offered on the first paid product which I do get commission off of. ( I can sell this Upsell product straight from its own salesletter in CB t but without any discount )
David xxxxxx who sells the Upsell product is really sincere in trying to find a way to get it so affiliates not only get the commission for the original product sold but also some commission from the upsell product ( which link is on the page for first product bought.)
In his last email today David writes,
"Hi Robert,
I've been digging into things today and I'm finding it a little more difficult than originally anticipated.
The issue is this second product is running through another clickbank account moreover, even if it was running through the same account I don't even think that cookie would cross over. Do you have any ideas on how this might work?
I'm sorry for the stuff around but I don't know how it can be done
"
Do any of you guys have a way that I can do something to get commission from the Upsell product. David is sincere but we cannot get this to work ( as I am not versed with CB and not very tech savvy)
