Conduit Sites vs. Amazon

I finally have the time to try out the Conduit Method by Chris Rempel, but I guess I'm having a hard time picking a niche that doesn't already have a ton of products listed on Amazon (which I think will beat out my rankings 99.99999% of the time).

Say for example I set up a site for hair straightener reviews and a surfer searches for a particular brand/model. Wouldn't they be much more likely to click on a listing from Amazon since they're full of reviews and have super cheap prices? I know I would...

How many Warriors have set up Conduit sites that make over $50/mo? Any advice about how to pick a niche?

This may be an older thread but I figured I can offer some insight. I have averaged in the past 9 months now from start till now with 1 conduit site about $250 a month.

Now granted the first few months had less sales then now, but the more I start to deep back link my site the more sales I get.

I would honestly pick a clickbank category say "health and fitness" and then do a review for every single health and fitness product there is. (because some of my sales come from reviews of crap products) A lot of people will find that I tell them the truth and truly say that a product is crap so they trust me that my #1 rated product is best. I have hardly ever any refunds because of this.

The hardest thing about using the conduit method is figuring out and getting ranked for all the important keywords of your products. BUT once you have done that, its just EASY money.
