Are Those Refund Rates For Real?

Just used some ClickBank analysis tool and see there are some products on ClickBank with refund rates over 75% and even saw one with refund rate 92%. Are those for real???

    Are you sure it wasn't 7.5 & 9.2 percent?

    That seems more realistic to me. I cannot imagine any product with such a high refund rate. And if the rate was that high, surely ClickBank wouldn't allow the product to continue being sold on their site.

    I've seen some of those too. I honestly thought it ment referred vs owner sales because some percentages were so high I didn't see how it could be refunds. It only says "refd" so I wasn't sure.

    "refd" = referred

    Its the percentage of sales referred by affiliates.

    I've subscribed to cbEngine which calculates the refund rate. In my, admittedly limited, experience the calculation seems close to correct for a product I am promoting (about 1 in 10.)

    I've seen a couple of products with refund rates of 20 - 25%, but nothing close to 75%+. That seems a bit extreme to me.

      There is no way to calculate the refund rate unless one keeps their own stats and promotes a product.

    It's impossible to calculate the refund rate. We've tried on our site. If the vendor has more than one product or the price has changed, then it can't be calculated.

      Additional factors which prevent calculation
      - change of commission rate
      - more than one product in an account

    Those are refund rates (NOT referred stats) shown on ClickBank Tool on Wealthy Affiliate site (I signed up for their $1 seven day trial today, found nothing useful on the site at all and immediately cancelled). Again, I don't know how accurate that tool was and by the way of the whole feel of their website I am not impressed (to the point that I cancelled my membership way before the expiration of my trial), so I wanted to know if maybe anyone used any other CB tools and found something similar

      There are various tools which claim to calculate a refund rate
      but for the reasons stated previously this figure cannot be
      accurate

    You could try my site. It's free.

    However, you won't find anywhere that will have accurate refund rates because of the factors mentioned above.
