I'm beginning to get into managing ad accounts for clients and would like to know a few things from those who already do this for a living. 1. I'd rather have their credit card on file instead of asking for a prepay. What's the best way to collect this info? Do I just get them to enter their CC into the advertising account (Facebook, Adwords) by themselves once I set it up?
Managing Ad Accounts For Clients

I'm beginning to get into managing ad accounts for clients and would like to know a few things from those who already do this for a living.
1. I'd rather have their credit card on file instead of asking for a prepay. What's the best way to collect this info? Do I just get them to enter their CC into the advertising account (Facebook, Adwords) by themselves once I set it up?
2. Is it normal to disclose and bill the client separately for me having to purchase monthly services like tracking and split testing software, or should I just silently write those expenses into the retainer?
3. If I start out hourly (since I don't know how to budget for a project) what falls under billable hours for setting up a campaign from start to finish, buying software, creating ads, LPs, optimizing, running reports, etc?
4. If a client wants to sell products in his e-commerce store but has no idea on how to go about it or which ones he thinks will be profitable, is it best to ask for a huge budget to test all of them from the start or a smaller budget to do a test run on the ones you think will sell best?
