How can I most effectivley generate traffic from my target market?

Hello and thank you for reading my post.

I have developed an online screening tool that I wish to help with the aging population as Baby Boomer numbers are on the rise. As healthcare costs for dementia and Alzheimer's skyrocket it is imperative action is taken.

How can I reach my target audience: Adults ages 40+, concerned about healthy aging, and wanting to do proactive things to help monitor memory and cognitive performance?

It was important that I follow the checklist of:
-Keeping my website designed for my target market
-Providing something easy to use and helpful
-Creating and maintaining a blog rich in key words
-Constant updates and tweeks as glitches are discovered
-Anything I can do to make it better

I have been running social medias for some time now and am curiouse as to why I am not generating the critical mass for my company to be sucessfull.

The information and responses from you would be invaluable so I respectfully request some help.

Thank you once again for giving me and my small business the time of day that might help me in my goal of providing this fast, fun, and easy to use tool to help people on a global scale.

IMO, the 60+ crowd is not too much into the latest fads like
    twitter, FB, etc.

Make a list of what those people think about, what they talk about.

Golf, bingo, church clubs, retirement investments, gardening, bird
watching, etc, and 100s more that I can not think of right now.

Research those for forums, newsletters, where you can spread the word.

    food for thought

Try some direct mail pieces . Seems you have your demographic down.

Research some places who sell mailing lists, and see what you can do from there.

Also you could try our hand at Facebook ads. They offer custom audiences, precise interests, etc. They drill down to the very person you're looking for.

promote your website in target market websites.
And use SNS to spread your website.

      What is SNS?

I feel that I have my target market down but when you think about it a lot more people fall in line.

I am ontop of the facebook ads and we are getting generous likes. I feel that it has all the requirements to go viral but I am just not hitting the right button. If any web guru has a great idea or tip that can tip the scale i would be stoked. I will continue forward with the suggested ideas and keep pressing forth.

Thank you much and happy hunting.

Go to Youtube look up videos in your niche. Search for the videos that don't have a link in the description area. Then look for the videos with highest views. Contact the person and tell them you will pay them if you can put your link there. Some will do it for like $10-$20. It works I have done it...tons of traffic.

My father in law was 70 years old and got into email.
My wife's Aunt got into facebook at the rip young age of 85. Although I think she like the gossip more than actually posting. That's all she talk about when we visit her in the nursing home.

All they need is to be taught

how comfortable are you with off-line promotion? I think your type of offer is ideal for partnerships with dietitians, gems, nutritionists, alternative health places, etc.
