What are private SSL & IP?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hello, I was about to create an account on a hosting website and they offered me 2 options, one with private SSL & IP + Toll free number and another one without (which is cheaper). What are their uses and do I need them if I only plan to create affiliate websites?

in general you won't need them for affiliate websites.

SSL can be added at anytime if needed

Dedicated Ip address is nicer than shared, but not necessary just starting if the $3 or so extra is tight on the budget

the phone number is obvious. do you want it?

you can get by with the baby plan for starting out.

Most people use it to make a secure connection between the customer and the website (like, for eCommerce webshops..) You don't really need them for affiliates websites.. However, it's your choice to do it or not.

SSL certificates are not big deal. Don't spend extra for them when you could get them for free at freeSSL.com
