Does promoting this product worth?

Hi warriors,

I have a product that I would like to promote, it has less than 500 searches per month in Google and has only 35K search results in Google. This is not a popular product, I know it.

So, I would like to know, does promoting this product worthwhile? well, I can create simple landing page and then use SEO service to get higher ranking.. this is low in competition, I pretty much can get into Page 1 in Google..

Let me know your opinions warriors..

    If you ask me, I would say its worth promoting it. 500 searches a month is pretty decent. Also, you can expect additional traffic from long tail kws as well.

    Sounds like an easy market to take over.

    But, you also have to consider that other people aren't promoting it (or searching for it) for a reason. Perhaps it's low quality or simply doesn't sell.

    500 searches is not that much.
    it would only be worth it if its a buying keyword with decent Commissions $30 & up

    Also Consider:
    are there ppc ads on the search results?
    does the product convert?

    A recipe for disaster in my view.

    If the Google zoo currently cannot currently detect a squeeze page on page #1 of its rankings, it is just a matter of time.

      I already asked my affiliate manager, he told me that the product that I'm about to promote is one of the best selling product.

      Actually I will create a simple (one page maybe) review site on that product and rank it. Not a squeeze page, sorry for misunderstanding.

    500 searches per month is not bad and seems like low or no competition you can go ahead but can you share that which kind of product you have is it useful for traffic or not if no one is working on this its mean that traffic is not interested in your product niche.It would be easy to help you if you share some more info about your product.
