Would you buy limited release, sourced PLR Articles?

I'm a writer, and I'm looking for ways to turn my skill into cash. I've had a few clients here and there, but it's really hard to get a decent rate these days. I'm wondering if writing PLR might be a good solution for me.

My idea for a WSO is to offer limited availability PLR packs of 5 articles each in various niches, such as health and fitness, credit and debt, animals and pets, etc. Each article will be well-written, factual, and will include a list of the sources I used to gather the information.

My goal is to provide PLR articles that are of comparable quality to articles that have been custom-ordered, perhaps even more so. To maintain uniqueness, I will sell only 25 copies per pack. Is this something that you would buy?

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Heck yes I'd buy that and I think that others would as well PROVIDED the article quality is as good as you say.
Things you've mentioned that would be key points of difference (in your favour) are: list of sources -- would make me think the article is original, and limited quantity -- making me believe I'd run little risk of posting the exact same content as someone else.

And don't be discouraged, PLR can be a great revenue maker for good writers. One person I heard of has often said he'd much rather sell an article as PLR 50 times for $2 than once (as an article) for $50. Kind of makes sense.

    Silver,

I have seen others doing what you're talking about . . . but I have to wonder if someone is willing to pay more for a limited edition PLR pack why wouldn't they just buy a custom article that was no sold to anyone else? That is what I would do (and have done in the past.) To me, if you're not the first person to have your article indexed . . . there's not a lot of difference between being #24 and #240.

This is just my own opinion . . . but if I were you I would forget the limited PLR and use my writing skills to create my own product. The upside earning for you is exponentially increased when you own the product. Surely you can find a niche that interests you and write about a common problem on concern.

If you can write - and it sounds like that's what you enjoy doing - why not become a good niche selector (it's not rocket science) and crank out some ebooks, reports, or other writings that will give you residual income. Kindle is still hot right now as are other ways to monetize great writing!

Writing is a skill and if you have it, you can easily learn all the other aspects of monetizing your skill.

    The very best to you,

    Steve

Yep limited edition PLR packages have always been popular :-)

I would test the number of articles in the packages compared to how much you charge for them :-)

I really like the idea of PLR content that includes a list of references/sources... this is something that (to my knowledge), very few PLR content providers do. I think that adding references/sources, will make your PLR content packs stand out.

And, if you're creating limited edition PLR content, where only 25 licenses will be sold, your PLR content will stand out even more. The most common limit, for limited edition PLR content, is somewhere around 75-150. If yours is limited to only 25, it's bound to stand out, because the more limited, the better for each of the buyers.

So, if you're creating high quality PLR content, that includes references, and is only limited to 25, I think the packs would sell quite well.

Well, my thoughts are that its quite hard to use the plr articles properly.
Everyone is looking for a high quality unique content and its quite hard to use plr articles on a website because its no use for seo and not a lot of use for a site.
Your better bet would be to offer services of writing unique content at bigger marketplaces such as hirewriters and others, there quite a few, associated content, and much more.
    Hope this helps.
