Clicks are harder to get this month...

Hello warriors,

I noticed that this month it is harder than usually to get normal percentage (40%+) of opened emails clicked. These days I am getting only between 20-35% of opened emails, which are clicked.

Do you feel the same trend in your list this month?

Regards,
Augustin

Look for products being sold right now that include large swipe files of subject lines and swipes.

Usually January is less 'strong' month in conversions (from a lot of reasons – after Christmas sales, 'long' month – 31 days and so on). I hope February will be better for you!

Overall January is always quite for all businesses; the obvious reason is the busy festive Christmas period.
Hope it will get better from next month for all of us.

Typically, every year, January is slow for IM for the aforementioned reasons. The only exception is stuff like affiliate marketing for Amazon, where people are spending their gift cards.

January is actually one of my best months each year, and I'm not promoting anything that would be "January friendly"

I think it's because people are still stuck on their computers in many parts of the world because of winter

    I'm not experiencing that.

Maybe you need to add more leads to your list and faster.

If you're not constantly putting fresh leads in your database, what you have will become less and less responsive

        Maybe you're not adding enough.

Either that or your domain could have lost favor with ISPs.

A lot of people go into save mode after the holidays going into the new year and aren't as interested in buying new things. It seems like I'm experiencing a little of this myself. This problem should get better in the next month or two.

How do you know a lot of people go into save mode after the holidays and aren't interested in buying new things?

While what you said could have some merit, without hard evidence to back it, it's just your opinion perhaps based on the status of your business.

My wife hasn't slowed down her spending lol

My business hasn't slowed down. In fact I just hit the number I've been speaking all month 3 days ahead of schedule.

I'm betting that the slowdown is due to an unknown variable in your industry, or a disruption in one of your traffic sources. Nothing to fret over, almost all businesses have at least some degree of seasonality.
