Read and research. I find a lot of articles in Ezine Articles, for instance, trigger ideas and you can also type in a word or two into Google and see what others are doing. Hope this helps.

One neat little idea is to go to ClickBank.com and find a niche that you are interested in, then go find the top products selling in that niche.

Then check out their sales pages and look for similar topics or points that each of them cover.

The topics that each of the products cover is a great idea for short reports that you could sell or giveaway.

    Hope that helps,

Another great tip is to just hang around forums looking for questions that keep on getting asked. This will give you a lot of insight into a market.

    All the best,

You can also try a keyword checker tool like the main Google one here; https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/KeywordToolExternal,. Use it to find ideas for good niches that are closely related to what you make to focu upon.

A great formula for a free report is the arch-famous "X secret tips to improve your ZZZZZZ", where X is a number and ZZZZZZ can be golf swing, eating habits, etc.

Yep like Joel I would recommend going to Clickbank and just checking out the marketplace in the areas that interest you, until you find something that catches your eye. Generally, if you find a product that personally makes you really want to buy it (and sooner or later you'll find a couple like that), it's a good bet that you'll be decently good at recommending it to other people and getting sales.

Then you can look at the "gravity" of the product to see if other people have had success selling it... the higher the gravity the better... and off you go.

Hi, I write short reports from several sources, sales pages are a good idea, related plr can be a big help, article directories are good too, as are google searches. So take an idea, like social media and type it into google. Pick the ones that catch your eye and tab them out.
Now Alter your search as influenced by what you read from those articles. Then tab out a few more and read them. That should give you plenty of data for your short report.

Look through your recent Amazon history, and think about why you bought certain things and what problem they've solved for you. Or just dig around Amazon in general to generate ideas for problem-solving ideas.

Try to think of a report as 3 to 5 related articles, each comprised of 3 to 5 tips in that area. Not to say that these are hard and fast rules, but that if search with that level of information on your radar, you're likely to prescreen possible ideas best.

As everyone said and I say it again always learn something and the next min. write about it .. the better you get at it the more you will know and the more experience you will have to give advice and make more money on the web.. always research and write what you learned and BOOM you will have many reports that can be all ready for distribution.. so do what i mention and good luck.
    hope that helped.

I have given these answers on many similar questions here at the Warrior Forum, here they are

      1. Go to any Private Label Rights website and look at the titles of the articles or ebooks in your niche and use those titles for ideas.

      2. Go to your local grocery, pharmacy, book store, or anywhere that sells magazines, pick up any magazine in your niche and look through it, they are loaded with ideas.

Look at nonfiction bestsellers' lists. New York Times, Amazon, Barnes and Nobel, etc.
Look through any big city Yellow Pages. You'll get tons of ideas there.
Look through supermarket tabloids along with big city newspaper classified ads on and offline.
Cruise through the infomercial channels on TV.
Do a search for forums online that have communities for various interests, like hobbies, social issues, etc. Comments on forums are often appeals for help and/or info.
