Stuck on a domain name!

Hi everyone, i'm having a really frustrating problem which I can't figure out!

I'm trying to pick a domain for my new site, which is going to promote my copy - writing services, as well as proofreading, press releases and some SEO services.

I'm notoriously useless and picking domain names, but I have total brain freeze with this one, and I've now procrastinated for about 24 hours trying to figure it out ha!

I thought it could be something like www.(something)marketing.co.uk but it's so hard to find decent unused names, and as soon as I pick one I change my mind anyway!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm incredibly stuck.

Many thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex, my fav tool for finding a fab domain name is...

    thesaurus.com

Seriously. I go there and look up variations of words that are already registered as domain names.

After about 10 or 15 minutes of looking around you'll find a great word combination that isn't registered as a domain name.

My tip is that if you find a cool domain name but it's already taken, then look for a very similar domain that maybe a singular/plural of the original name.

    In 2012 I found pinkwidget.com being auctioned for $1800 but I later bought pinkwidgets.com for $10.

    Hi,

Try looking for a domain with your name and the service you're offering
    within it.

    So - www.yourname-yourservice.com

If it isn't available try using "Dashes" in-between the names.

DON'T add too many dashes though - maybe 2-3 at the most.

    Hope this helps
    G.B.

When in doubt, buy them all and point them to your main site. Problem solved.

So, you can't come up with a domain name...

Understandable but if you want to offer copy writing services you should better keep such hick-ups for yourself. LOL
