Whats Working For You?

I wanted to create a discussion on "what's working for you now?"

-What is something that you are doing in your marketing / online business venture that is really working well driving traffic or making money? It could be a new technique or oldie but a goodie...

For me whats working is finding real-person affiliates and Youtube personalities promoting my products. Basically I give someone that has a decent following on Youtube a free subscription or sample in exchange for them talking about my product on their channel. Everyone wins, they get free stuff and something to talk about on their Youtube channel and I get free advertising with tons of people seeing my product in a video!

    Nice approach.

Another twist to this is approaching those same individuals and "renting" ad space/link space on their videos.

This is going to sound very broad (and it is) but for myself and my company we focus on Revenue and Growth for our business clients. More specifically, we work on a "pay for performance" scale (i.e. deliver tangible results and produce a ROI or don't get paid).

For SEO this means clients only pay WHEN THEY RANK.

For our lead gen division we guarantee interest and correct contact info for the leads.

For traffic, we only charge you for web traffic that we can track, tied to the keyword you want, and from the sources you wanted it from (social, organic, etc).

It's simple really, but you would be amazed at how easy it is to "sell" a prospective client (if you can even call it selling), when you can deliver tangible results that make a difference in their business.

Tough niche considering the time it takes to create vs. the money most are willing to pay out for services.

I've found margins in this arena tend to be low once you factor in everything. The only companies I've seen do well are those that have an outsourced TEAM in say India, and work on volume.

If getting enough business to justify this is an issue I would look at developing some strategic partnerships to bolster your client roster.
