Product Owners, I need your advice

I have a membership site on Clickbank that isn't generating any sales..
How would you go about getting some affiliates on board or just generating sales besides just having it on the CB market?

Anything to point me in the right direction would help

Thanks
Pedro

The very first thing in my opinion is to have affiliate marketing tools in place : professional banners, swipe copies, ppc keywords, sample review articles, etc. Then you need to hook up with partners - check out jvnotifypro.com

I'm not sure CB is the best payment provider for a membership site. Look how ancient the order form is compared to somewhere like JVZoo.

Really you just need to have a custom PayPal solution.

Just having your membership site on Clickbank will not bring in sales...

Here are two things I think you should do:

    1) Create a free report or video that is related to the content of your membership, and give it to your target audience against their email address, then as an upsell once they op-in make your membership sales offer. This way you also build your list and can come back to your subscribers and sell them again and again - of course offering them valuable info...

Another option wold be to create a low ticket item, promote it, and have your membership as an upsell. The whole idea is that selling memberships is much more difficult than selling a product with one payment.

Based on your sales results, tweak for better conversions. Of course, all this implies investing in some paid traffic, like Facebook or solo ads.

    2) Get affiliates... Now this is much easier to say than actually succeed doing it. If you went through step one and had some sales, you can see if you got good conversion metrics that you can use when trying to convince other marketers to promote your product.

Also, instead of just asking, you should invest some time networking with those marketers, even help them, make some sales of their products (even if this means investing in paid traffic to get those sales).

Where to find those potential affiliates?... You can try to contact them directly, but ideally you should hangout in specific forums as www.JVFocus.com or some Facebook groups where they hangout and just network, add value to the group etc...

Another way to get visibility is to use the services of www.jvnotifypro.com... Against a certain fee, your offer will get emailed to a big number of affiliates.

If you are in the IM niche you can (actually you should) list your product on www.muncheye.com and www.warriorjv.com - but that works only if you are doing a new launch, or in your case a re-launch.

    I hope that helps...
