Best affiliate link cloakers which hide referrer ?

23 replies
I'm looking for an affiliate link cloaking script (WP or otherwise) which hides the referrer (dont want to share my sources of leads).

I'm open to paid software and prefer something I can run on my website or WP site.

Anyone have any suggestions?

    get your self SSL on your domain. with prettylink plugin.

    I like using a hosted solution since then the referral really gets scraped. I install "page link to" plug in for WP and tracks clicks with bevomedia affportal. this is off your domain and you will be able to use SSL with bevo. But you could use it other ways as well. But this may not be what you want.

      So, you use BM alongside a WP plugin as well? I'm not clear on why both would be necessary. I'm also a little leary of sharing my info with a 3rd party but maybe it's OK and maybe i"m just being paranoid.

        depending how you use it, i mean you if you have just a derict link campaign setup then plugin "page link to" will make that link look pretty on your post or page.
        If you using landing page with offer on bevo then you wouldn't need to use any plug in's. just need to be able to place your lp code on the post or page with html editor. then upload redirect code on your server.

        If your that paranoid create a few accounts and separate your tracking but Most of my campaigns are more clients based and some cpa testing.

    I would use pretty link lite for WordPress. It shows data on the clicks you get and unique clicks as well. There's a paid version for pretty link with more features. Search for pretty link in the plugin section and it should be the first result that comes up, in your dashboard. Look into it!

    Why not to use a simple php script?

    1. Make file named ext.php
    <?php
    $link = $_REQUEST['linknr'];
    switch ($link) {
    case "1":
    header('Location: http://your_1st_ugly_clickbank_link');
    break;
    case "2":
    header('Location: http://your_2nd_ugly_clickbank_link');
    break;
    etc...
    }
    return;
    ?>

    Then redirect your weblinks to: http://yourwebsite.com/ext.php?linknr=1 or 2 or whatever
