Getting about 50 subscribers per day. No idea what to do with them

Hey guys, so I am adding about 50 new subscribers per day to my list (internet marketing niche), but I have no idea what to do with them.

I have been searching around for a premade sales funnel with follow up emails but I am not having much like finding one.

I know many people will say to make my own sales funnel and follow up emails, but truth be told I would have no idea where to start.

Do you guys know of any good premade sales funnels?

Thanks!

you should be emailing them everyday, letting them know you exsist, begin to establish trust, all while making them good offers that help them get the results they want, and help you make the money you want..

I've been email marketing for almost 7 years, and I'm currently 2nd in an affiliate contest above a very top marketer.

You never build a list just to build a list, the point of a list is to make money with it.

You should have created your sales funnel before you started collecting emails.

That being said, the War Room has plenty for you to get. Just search there.

I agree, but now that you have this build your own funnel and start to cash in.

Keep following up via email daily. Let them know of anything new that is happening in your program to keep them interested.

you can clickbank with partners and get more subscribers. Then adswap. and eventually start selling your own solo ads.

or You can build a relationship, email them everyday, and promote a product every now and then.

Practice Increasing Open Rates & Clicks, Its necessary no matter what option you choose

Wow...that's a great start! I don't think a premade funnel or pre-written emails are going to be as effective as developing your own funnel and email series to go along with it. It really shouldn't be that hard to do but I would definitely try to build a relationship first before you go whole hog into marketing offer after offer to your list otherwise you won't be able to retain your subs.

Give them value and they will stick around and become your customers for a long time to come. Good Luck!

You will find many interesting lessons about email marketing if you will look for them online.

You should basically learn how to give information about your products to your readers as if you were an adviser, or talk about your subscribers’ problems and then present the solution.

Everything depends on what you are trying to sell with these messages, and first of all, everything depends on the people who are subscribing to your list. Do they have a buying intention? Do they really care about your products? You have to understand very well your audience and your purpose before writing messages.

    Lol...

I'm playin cuz. Email these dudes. Sounds like you were testing out an idea to see if it would blow. After my first day with more than 10 subscribers, i would have started promoting offers to them instantly. That's what you need to be doing.... hopefully your list is targeted and good.

For followup emails, just send them a bit of free information related to the niche to start to build a relationship. Then find a good affiliate product you think your list would like and send them out an email advertising and linking to it. Most affiliate products have pre-made swipes you can use but would highly recommend doing a bit of editing to change the wording up a bit.

    Rinse and repeat.

Thanks for the replies guys! I know I should have had a sales funnel up sooner. Oh well haha. The list is actually being build from my blog. I have been consistently blogging for a little over a year. Site now have over 600 articles on it. I was getting a good amount of traffic so I decided I might as well start building a list.

As you already have a well established blog, you probably also have some pages that are not viewed so often, but are still interesting to your audience.
600 pages per year is about 12 pages per week. Why not send out a summary of your weekly Posts (with links to the individual Posts) as well as mentioning some of the lesser visited Posts (links).
Monetization you should do on the blog itself.

Also go and collect the best Posts from your blog and create an ebook (PDF or Kindle).

Start to give them a lot of content and great value. Tell them more about you and don't forget to sell something to them.

Make sure that the products you sell are able to earn you residual income.

"you should be emailing them everyday" - terrible, terrible advice.

"you need to be selling them stuff!" - terrible, terrible advice.

You need to determine exactly why they are signing up to understand their exact needs. Then engage with them as yourself, giving them snippets of great info and building their trust. Be seen as someone NOT just hammering them to sell them stuff.

Would you like to be emailed everyday? Would you like to be sold stuff in emails? Do you ever go "yeah great I'll buy it right now even though I don't know or value this person as a resource".

    No, nobody else does either.

To OP: It's not like you have nothing to write about. 600 articles should automatically make you a great source of information. And, if people are signing up to your list from your blog, it must mean they like your content. Just continue the discussion with your emails. You'll get better as you progress, but you have to start somewhere.

      You are absolutely right!!!

I had purchased some WSO's or signed up for a free report and now I am on several lists.

I keep getting emails from these people trying to promote other people's products.

No real helpful information....in my opinion.

They are just trying to promote affiliate products. Many times several people are promoting the same affiliate products.

That's why nowadays I just delete the emails.

I won't even read them most of the time.

It's very very good that your are getting 50 subscribers a day in IM niche. But the condition to get success is that how do you use them for your purpose?
Suggestions to you that DO NOT promote your or any affiliate program in every email and DO NOT email them day after day. Create a schedule to send emails using an auto-responder. In my opinion maximum 2-3 email a week is good and not to promote any product every week.

you can choose one of the 2 ways.. you even try to establish a connection with them, by giving way free tips, bonuses, real good info.. or you can enter the solo ad biz.. and try to send them emails for different offers, and make money from day 1. Your choice

    Start selling e-Zine ads, simple.

And if you want some extra green, just add in a few affiliate products into the mix.

Or, if you want to establish your authority, sell them your unique proprietary product.

    First base covered.

Go on to the second base now.

Send them free offers and talk to them like they're sitting across the table from you and they are your friend. You must be able to send them a free report and information about what you are selling. Where are you getting your traffic? Are you paying for your traffic? Does this niche include camping? If you don't have any products of your own, go to Amazon or Clickbank or one of the other thousands of affiliate sites and find some products that you can offer to them.

Good luck in your decision. :-)

I would definitely hold off from promoting anything till I've built a great, honest and open relationship with them.

See at as earning money from the list as a 'perk'. After you've sent them your honest tips and advice, there's no reason why they wouldn't buy products from you.

Make an awesome e-product, build up the anticipation & launch!

Yes, build the relationship with your list. Give them valuable information and keep them interested in your emails.

If you have no products or a sales funnel in place then just use some good affiliate offers. Look for offers with high conversion rates targeted to your specific list.

I would not suggest using a premade sales funnel. If you build it yourself, it will be more lucrative.

It seems like you know how to generate your own leads. Good for you!

But what the heck were they opting in for?

What were you promising them for opting in?

You are getting others telling you to make your own products, funnels and email campaigns.

    The problem with those ideas?

You alike the great majority of 'opportunity' seekers don't have a clue where to start.

There are far too many people making products who don't really have enough experience to make products that offer value.

Sure you could make products and funnels if you had more experience and skill sets but if you did, you would already know what to do with your list.

Now please don't get offended because that is not my intention here.

If I were you, I would find a good highly 'converting' sales funnels that is already pre made - A 'System' that is ready to go!

You obviously have 'it' in you to become a great marketer since the majority of new marketers don't stay with one system long enough to generate 'one' lead not to mention actually becoming successful.

Look for a 'system' where people are making lots of dollars already.

    PS: This shouldn't be hard.

This here says that you are marketing genius! You are a natural born
list generator. If you are generating 50 leads per day and don't know
what to do with them then you must have a gift that you don't recognize.
Most marketers know what to do with them but don't know how to
    get them.

If you can get them it's easy to learn how to keep them--once you are
getting them legitimately. But as has been said several times before,
fulfill the promise you made to them for signing up.

    Hi,

    1. Create a list of 10 topics you could use to create useful tips and advice around.

    2. Write down 10 (or even 5) sub-topics for each of those main topics you've listed.

    3. Go through each one and try to create an email based around each one of those
I.M. topics where you give away some kind of useful tip and trick you've either
learned or have found useful yourself in your online business.

    4. Now you can bridge the gap between you and your subscribers every time
each one signs up to your list by instantly having something useful waiting for
them that they can use right away.

    5. Just start writing about what you know, what has excited you and build your
    confidence as you go.

Use your own unique marketing style and angles.

Tell your stories, what you've learned and discovered along the way.

Be a marketer but use your own personality and be yourself.

I hate hit when I get emails that have 5 lines of text and 3 of those
lines are links to an offer in them.

    Always give something away first.

This could be one single tip or piece of advice.

It doesn't have to be 20 pages long.

Just make start and eventually you'll find your own army of followers who
like you and will stay on your lists for months or even years down the line.

    DON'T try to please everyone!

Be controversial if you have to. But if that feels too uncomfortable at first then
add that into your marketing as your confidence grows.

    All the best
    Gavin

If you have that many people subscribing you obviously have something that they are interested in.

If you don't know how to set up an email sequence use the search function and you'll get a lot of information there.

Start sending your prospects valuable information and sign up to ClickBank for some related affiliate products.

Why are they signing up? What did you offer them in exchange for the email?

You should be giving them what they were promised on sign up.

If it was vague or just "sign up for a freebie" then chances are they won't bother to open your emails much anyway so whatever you send won't make much difference.

And if you have no idea about the basics of setting up an email list or creating a sales funnel one has to wonder whether you should be in the IM niche to begin with.

If you have no knowledge to offer these people in how they can progress in their IM career / make money / or whatever it is they expected then do them and yourself a favor and delete them now.

You won't make any money from them anyway which in turn will result in you sending more and more promos hoping they'll buy something which will piss them off more and more and in the end no one will be happy.

There are premade sales funnels in the WSO section. The ones I've seen (and even tested for my list) aren't great.

Yes because that's just what your email list signed up for to have offers thrown at them left, right and centre the second they signed up.

He needs to be providing them value, building a relationship, gaining trust and RECOMMENDING PRODUCTS HE CAN VOUCH FOR once he's gained their trust.

If they've came onto his list via cold traffic > squeeze page > bribed opt in there's absolutely no trust there (and there probably NEVER will be) so throwing products at them won't help unless they are absolutely desperate for a solution and he has it - seems unlikely seeing as he doesn't know what he's doing.

Find out what it was they were interested in when they signed up. If you are using Aweber there is a way of checking what URL they signed up from.
I couldn't find a similar feature in getresponse (other autoresponders may or may not have this). This might give you an indication of the subject matter they are most interested in.

Failing that you could send out a survey to find out what they'd like to learn more about.

To start off with I would at least send an email out when you add a new article/post to your blog. (I presume you have this monetised in some way)
So it will get them back to your site and get them used to receiving mail from you (and check how many open your email and how many click).

I would also try a few emails promoting a product. Take a look at the email lists of marketers you've bought from - what do they do?

Basically - experiment and find out what works for you and your list.

But I guarantee, no matter what route you take and how little response you get it can't possibly be worse than having a list you don't send a single email to.
      {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[8935127].message }}
  • I see a lot of good response to your question what should you do with the list you are building. First off let me good going on getting 50 new subscribers daily that is awesome.
Just like everyone else has been telling you all you got to do is set up a newsletter with your autoresponder getresponse and aweber both have instructions on how to do this. Then what ever you niche is that you are building keep them informed with current events in that niche and about every third or fourth email promote an item that in your niche.
If you don't have your own products you can check clickbank for items to promote for a start. Just don't let your list go to waste. You can also allow others to mail to your list for a fee buy running their solo ads. If you don't want to promote a product. You will still have to make sure you don't over mail solo ads to them and always keep them interested in opening your emails. Hope this helps

First off, congrats on the 50 a day. That's pretty awesome.

And also, on the 600 articles as well.

Now you're obviously offering them something of value or at least promising something of value that's why they signed up in the first place. Build off that and communicate with them on occasion.

Maybe that can be special articles that is not already on the site.

I'm not saying to bombard them with emails (because not everybody likes receiving an email a day or 3 emails in a day) but send them email that's rich with content that you don't have anywhere else on your site.

You could even re purpose some of your content and use them to create products and guides and things along those lines. But you're at a point now where you can offer something to sell to those that subscribed.

    Hi eagle22,

First of all congrats! as 50 subscribers a day is wonderful. If you don't mind, could you please share with us what methods are you using to getting them?

I have read most of the comments over here and they are giving you great suggestions, but as you said "I know many people will say to make my own sales funnel and follow up emails, but truth be told I would have no idea where to start... Do you guys know of any good premade sales funnels?"

You are looking for premade funnels, right? I know a person who gives you a done for you funnel for 3 different niches (if I'm not mistaken) and one of those niches is internet marketing.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this or not as this is my second post and I don't want to look spammy, but this is the guy I'm talking about:

    http://www.chrisfarrellmembership.com/

I've been a member for 3 years now and he gives lots of done for you stuff for free. It's just $37/month anyway.

I know another person but he charges like $5,000 to $10,000, too expensive.

Another solution if you see chris is not a good option for you is to use a tool like Optimize Press 2.0. It makes your job easier, especially if you need to do it yourself.

    Hope this helps

What you need to do before you monetize your list is to give them what you promised to give them when they opted in.

Contrary to popular belief, you can email them everyday as long as you are not promoting anything. Only promote twice a week (max).

Always give out useful info to get them into the habit of clicking the links you give them.

Email your list daily and ask them what questions or problems they're having in their business and how you can help them. Then you can create a product and answer the questions or you can recommend related affiliate products.

I'm sure you're probably paying a monthly fee for your auto responder service so you might want to start making some money from your list so you're not just paying a fee every month for no reason.

Create an account with iContact or Getresponse. (I strongly suggest iContact).

Then create an automated welcome message and a 14 day follow up email.

Keep your emails short (no more than 4-5 lines of text).

Subject can be: 3 Foods You Should Never Eat
COA: Eat These Foods or Watch Shocking Video

Then redirect them to a clickbank health remedy product that has a doodle.
