The most effective way to use PLR

Products that have private label rights attached still offer value to the marketer but there are some basic rules that need to be followed.
Never publish as is, and never use the same cover and we are talking ebooks and reports here.

It is well worth the time to grab a few reports or books in the required niche and go through them, picking key points from each one and creating your own product by rewriting each passage in your own words. This makes a unique product and you will be amazed how you get inspired while doing this, and then end up adding your own material in as you go. It will be well worth your effort.

Always change the cover, it will have been used many times before and besides you now have a unique product and do not want it associated with the original.

If you use plr as inspiration it can be a powerful tool but make the effort to create something of value, after all your business is worth it isn't it?

You're right, PLR is only worthless if you do nothing with it (or if you bought really lousy content to begin with.) If you really don't want to spend time rewriting and creating a new ecover, you can break it down into small pieces for an autorepsonder by choosing the best tidbits and tips in the ebook or report.

How you use PLR content will depend on what you want the PLR content for. For example, if you only want content for your emails, and you're already using well written PLR content, then there isn't really a need to rewrite the content.

Here's another example. Let's say you wanted content for your blog. There could be multiple ways you'd use the content, depending on whatever you want to achieve from the content. You could use the PLR content...
    - as is, if you only wanted something useful for your readers to read, and you don't claim authorship of the content (think of it as syndicated content).
    - as a starting point and edit and add to it (to create something that appeals to your readers or to create something even more valuable than what you started with)
    - as inspiration and rewrite the content, if you wanted a unique version (for search engines or whatever)

So, the best way to use the PLR content, will depend on what you want to achieve with the content.

    Hi,

Speaking of offering PLR you could...

...Change it up and make it your own as mentioned above.

Then offer FOR FREE with PLR rights (exclusive ONLY to them) to an established marketer who has a huge list of subscribers so they can offer via their blog, squeeze page or sell it
as is to their lists etc.

Tell them that it also comes with tutorials that show their potential leads how to
exactly set it up and upload to their server etc.

Why would you want to do this in the first place and go to all that trouble
just to end up giving it away to another marketer and offering them exclusive
    PLR rights to it?

Well you can then offer them 75% - 100% commissions on your upcoming product
launch or ask them to promote (send out an email) to promote one of your products.

If they accept you now have a chance that they'll be sending a ton of traffic back to
your offer by sending out an email to their lists promoting your offer.

If they have a massive email list and have looked after their list and it is very
responsive then you stand a chance of making a ton of sales off the back of
using PLR products to it's full potential.

Of course you won't be sending anything that's rubbish here you'll need to add
your own content to it too and change it around so that it looks and feels completely
    unique.

Hope this helps anyone and gives them a reason to go out there and make things
    happen.

    All the best
    Gavin

To answer this, like most things in life... it depends...

If it is well written PLR content, then you can use it to send out to your subscriber list. Most likely they have never seen the PLR content ever before. I myself load PLR articles into my weight loss auto-responder and after reading them, have learned things I was never aware of before.

If you want to make it high quality, original content for your own blog or for guest posting on other blogs, then you will need to re-write and re-phrase the PLR content and try to add at least a couple of sentence or paragraphs with your own unique ideas or thoughts on the topic.

PLR articles can also be repurposed into other formats like video and audio.

You can use small segments from a PLR ebook to create a ton of video using each segment as your script. Rewording is a good idea to ensure the video is unique and you can use the rewritten text on the slides in your video

The best thing about PLR is the potential.

It's sure as hell not the quality, or originality. But you can modify the content to garner those two lost variables.

The best thing about PLR... Is the potential.

    :]

    Just my $.02.

PLR is great when you know what to do with it. I love creating mini reports to give away as freebies to build a list. You can also create ecourses for those that subscribe. And best of all, you can always spin your articles or reports for a more unique feel. <3
