1 click upsells?

Hi,

I run a site completely done with CSS/html and don't use a shopping cart at the moment (I have had a programmer create the checkout process manually).

I would like to insert a one click upsell on this process. How would I go about doing this?

Maybe there are any scripts or anything out there that I should take a look at?

    Do you mean like Amazon does? So that a customer can click a button to make a purchase?
    If so, you will have to have his payment information stored and you should have a contract/agreement to automatically process payments with your payments company (either PayPal, or any other you use).

      Yeah, I guess this is how I want it. After the customer has checked out and bought the original offer, another page pops up and they're able to add more stuff to their order, maybe with a great rebate.

      This is also how GoDaddy does it I believe. After you've purchased a domain, you'll now be bombarded with rebated one click upsells.

    Nanacast does this. You setup the memberships or products on their servers. Once done, you generate and put a simple "buy button" on your website. When customers click it, they're taken to Nanacast's checkout page and the upsell process begins. They have linear and tree-based upsell paths that can be setup. Just keep in mind it happens on their servers, not your site. Once the sales are done, Nanacast can also deliver the content.

    It you want it to happen on your site, you'll need a script that offers 1-click upsells. The only ones I'm familiar with are Digital Access Pass, Login Frequency Marketing and Delavo.

    Nanacast is good. Lol at mentioning Godaddy, i literally dread buying a domain in case i accidentally buy one of their upselss. They take it to far though.

    Also on the topic of Godaddy, when you let a domain expire, they send you emails with words like "Final Notice" and "You will face a charge" to try and scare you into renewing it, even though it's your choice. Really unethical in my opinion.

      Hehe. I kind of like that they remind you of it though. Nothing worse than losing a domain you really needed because you forgot to renew it!
