The information overload excuse
Sorry folks, that is not a medical condition. Shiny object syndrome isn't either.
If you want to succeed at anything you have to dedicate yourself. Make a commitment right now to never give power to those statements again. Roll up your sleeves and work. Pick a direction, go for it and review your progress later.
If you want a better life you have to take responsibility for every aspect of it. Your health, your finances, your relationships, your family life, your education, etc.
At the end of the day it's easier to say to yourself that you have shiny object syndrome or info overload but the TRUTH is you just didn't have the dedication to yourself or your success to do the things you needed to do.
I work hard, every day. It's not always fun. I get bored. I get burned out but because I force myself to push through I make a fantastic income that allows me to travel when I want and live in an exotic location and do pretty much whatever I want.
You can do the same thing, all you have to do is take responsibility for yourself. Every day. Not sometimes. Not tomorrow. Not when you are in a different position. Not when you meet the right people. Right now and every day from now on. Trust me, it's worth it. You'll feel better about yourself and you'll make REAL progress.
