Please Help... Question about Duplicating Wordpress for Team Members

Hello,

I have a question. I'm building a wordpress website for a new client and he was wondering if its possible to duplicate his website for 100 of his team members. Each team member would have a version of his website, but also have the option to add their own unique content.

I know that i could clone the site in 100 different subdirectories. However, is there a way to make mass updates to the theme, css, header, plugins, footer, widgets, etc.... across all 100 wordpress installs.

Also, whats the easiest tool to use that will do all of this?

    Use Wordpress Multisite and network enable the selection of themes, plugins, etc. that you want each site to have. Then just keep the master site up to date.

    As for content, build the boilerplate (the content that will be the same for each team member) into the templates via a child theme.

    With this setup, if you properly restrict the team members from adding wildcat themes and plugins, maintaining 101 sites is the same work as maintaining 1.
