Where to take my idea

I have an idea such as LondonCheap.com

the whole idea of the website is to guide people how to get the cheapest things in London, for example, haircuts, beers, transportation etc.

I have trouble finding keywords that relate to london and cheap, im not sure what I should do next, im not very good at SEO.

Im thinking perhaps hire someone to find me maybe 10-20 low ranking keywords based around "london, cheap, budget" etc.

what would you do?

I forgot to mention, I already have a blog on London which is normal advice, perhaps i should create a sub section on that site, instead of making a whole new site?

Sounds like a pretty big project that would require a ton of work and programming. Most websites that generate local results require more than just targeting keywords, they are scraping the internet for the best prices of geo-targeted markets and delivering those results via; some serious .php and scripting... let alone keywords.

Just my opinion, but if you don't know much about SEO, it's likely this is a 'programming hell' for anyone who doesn't specialize in writing php scripts.

If your existing blog has decent rankings I would just add it as another category

I agree that having a subsection in the same blog will be better. You will have to do a lot to promote this blog, and if you will have another website you will have to promote a lot another link. It’s better to concentrate your attention on promoting only one. When it will get the traffic you need, you can start a new project.

I'd take your idea offline. Would be talking with event planners, tour operators, restauranteurs and even travel agents. The information you've compiled could be of tremendous use to their client base. And you could sell it to them.
