Quality Fitness Product created, authority website, what next?

Hi everyone,

I recently discovered this forum and have to say, is just as valuable as having a mentor around.

Anyway, my first post, I have created a quality information product. It is a fitness/muscle-building/well being book similar to Vince Delmonte's No-Nonsense Muscle Building book, at least in that category. I plan to sell it for $77, with possible upsells.

I have branded myself well with a powerful company name and slogan, and logo. The logo also has a graphical version of myself in it. I should also mention, down the road i plan to sell apparel with my company brand/logo on it as i think it will do well, many people can relate to its meaning. So you get an idea of where it's going/where it's at.

My main question is; I have a site currently being built for me, containing blog articles, a "products" section, all that good stuff. I'm a member of Aweber, but haven't done anything yet with it. I'm wondering, once the site is up and the product is available, how do I get traffic and sales? This is going in the direction of an authority-type website/brand, and I'm in it for thr long haul. I'd like to eventually do this FT and be able to quit my day job, and focus on continuing to create quality products for people to use and purchase.

Can anyone point me to the right direction or suggest anything, at all?

I'm very new to all of this, so even if it's other advice/tips/things to keep in mind or watch out for, I'd appreciate all of your feedback.
