Right So I've Hit A Problem!

Hi People,

So I've been researching the threads of finding Hot niches using the legendary Google tool "Skool", So for instance the majority of these search's are for specific products i.e Cameras,Xbox,PS3,HD-MI etc.. etc.. So OBVIOUSLY you can expect big sites like Amazon,play.com to be up there in the rankings.

My questions to you is, CAN you beat Amazon etc..? Have you had any experience in creating review sites for specific products and ranked pretty high? How have you managed to do it! Back link juice? Effective keyworded Articles?

I KNOW there are some warriors out there who make their living from Niche markets etc.. so what exactly do you find the best way to penetrate the rankings?

    It's not that hard to beat Amazon and Play etc for specific products names if you put some effort in, although you have to make sure your page is highly targeted on your selected keywords and of course you need backlinks.

    I think the trick is to make sure you target products that sell easily, and are worth the effort. Make sure you select products and keywords that have some real value. Articles are good for traffic and backlinks if you do impartial and helpful reviews.

    There's good money to be made if you do it well - I spent a lot of time about a year ago on targeting specific products, creating many pages and although I made loads of mistakes it still brings me in a few hundred pounds a month in amazon commissions even though I haven't touched my pages for ages.
