Internet Marketing Newbie: Please guide

I have created a site in a competitive niche recently. I have started writing original articles for my site (1 daily). I plan to earn money by selling clickbank products. My traffic generation plan is medium to long term (mainly organic).

What other steps should I take to increase my earnings? How long would it be generally (how much traffic) to earn $1000 a month? (Just an estimate)

Thanks,
Roshan Jha

    A few ideas...

Build a list that you can market to on an ongoing basis...
Create your own product, for income and to build a buyers list...
Consider paid traffic to increase the growth of your page...

I have been going through the forum a lot and have seen nearly everyone recommend building a list. But I have no idea what and how to market to them. Any help would be appreciated.

What's the best list managing website? I have heard a lot about aweber. Is it the best?

      Thanks

    Hi,

That's where your "Back End" comes into to play.

You need to create an email sequence that builds trust with you and your
readers, gets them engaged and has them wanting to know more from you.

That's when you present them with your offers or affiliate ones.

Create the K.L.T. factor when it comes to writing your emails.

    1. Know

    2. Like

    3. Trust

Once you know how to create back end email campaigns that instantly
creates the KLT factor between you and your subscribers then making
back end sales is ten times simpler than if you were to just churn and burn
    your list.

Write down a list of what YOU would want to learn from another marketer
if you joined their list then start creating emails based around that list that
    can help your subscribers.

What are the common problems people face when it comes to "XYZ" in your
    niche etc?

Look to add value to the emails you send out first.

    Then ask for the sale.

Test different email campaigns against one another and throw more
traffic towards the ones that bring in the best results.

Do you have a way to find out the kind of things that people were searching for when they found your site? That will give you an idea of the interests your visitors have.
Once you know that you'll have a good idea of what to offer them in exchange for signing up to your list.
