My domain points to a website which I don't own!

4 months ago I bought a .com domain with GoDaddy and never touched that domain since. Yesterday, I tried to add that domain in my GoDaddy Hosting account and got an error "This domain is already added in another account". Then I visited my domain and saw that it leads to a wordpress site with 8 posts and adsense enabled.
I have come to this conclusion:
Whenever you buy a domain with GoDaddy, it's name servers are automatically pointed to NS<some number>.DOMAINCONTROL.COM. Anyone with a GoDaddy HOSTING account can add these domains into their "Hosted Domains" thing.
And I'm sure that website is also hosted with GoDaddy.
I've already sent a support ticket to them, is there anything more I could do?
If you want to see my domain, please reply below.

Whenever you buy a domain name and do not point it to your hosting account the host automatically park it on a page like your describing. You need to go into your domain name manager and go to your dns settings and point the name to your hosting account!

Also make sure to unlock the account. I had to do the same thing. After I unlocked it I was able to redirect my website.

      Hello,
I am not that new to this domain and website business and I'm NOT talking about a parked page, I am talking about a real wordpress site. This is the domain.
      Thanks for your reply though.

At this point, you should probably contact Godaddy via live chat, email or call them. Live chat is a faster and free way to contact them since you're outside of the US. If you didn't point your domain name to other DNS, it will be parked on Godaddy. It's weird as you said that it pointed to a live Wordpress blog, probably you should contact Godaddy ASAP. Good luck!

If you checked your dns settings and its not pointed at a parked page then you need to go onto live chat with GoDaddy.

However all you need to do is point the domain for the change. After you point it if it doesn't resolve then you know there's a real problem. Contact and chat with them anyway!

With the help of wayback machine, I found that domain was registered in 2008 and was dropped in 2012 and the last article on that wordpress blog was also posted in 2012. I think, blog owner forgot to remove the domain from his Godaddy hosting account when it expired, and when I registered this domain in 2013, it was again attached to his hosting account(new domains are automatically pointed to Godaddy Nameservers ns.domaincontrol.com).
Thanks for replying friends, and yes, I am recieving support from GoDaddy on it.

Change the nameservers first if you can do it before adding your domain to your host. If you can't change the dns then contact support.
