Amazon affiliate sites

Hi all,

I have several amazon affiliate sites which I have just started. They are starting to make commissions as I add more reviews which is great.

I have seen many people advise others to make a site around a particular product or niche. I haven't done this as I thought of it in a different way. Why bother creating multiple sites when you could just have 1 for each amazon affiliate country?

I am still ranking for long tail keywords with my products and still making commissions...

so what would be the advantage of me making smaller niche sites as well?

    Marketing a niche site is far easier to do than marketing an untargeted site. For example, if you want to market your site to a facebook audience, it makes more sense to keep it focused.

    For example, if my target audience on Facebook consists of people who have pet iguanas, promoting an iguana site to them is far more likely to be positively received than a site about pets (or animals) in general.

    The same goes for any other type of site. By making it overly broad, you make it difficult to market to a target audience.

    Well, if you have an entire site focused on one particular niche or product type (not necessarily just one product), your traffic that would be coming in would be very highly targeted. This could improve your conversion rate and the number of products you sell.

    As far as whether or not to implement such a strategy, that would be up to you. You said in your post that you are starting to have success and are making commissions so that is always good Good Luck!
