Reseller Web Hosting advice

hi,

I am looking for advice with a Reseller Web Hosting. I would like to go with Hostgator.
Any advice? Any other choice?

My goal: build as sell small website. I really need only 100Mo per website/account.
How many websites can I put in one account? Wgo can handle any webhosting problem (Hostgator support?)

    You need to be provide 24/7 support to your clients. (Big headache ... From personal exprience)

    Plenty of choices other then Hostgator. Hostmonster, Bluehost ... Do a search on Google for 'reseller hosting'.

    It depends on the space/resources the sites use. You can always exapand as time goes.

    Wgo can handle any webhosting problem (Hostgator support?)
    They usually provide support for tech stuff as yours is reseller hosting not a dedicated server. But minor things like creating accounts, solving software issues like php, mysql ... you should be doing.

    The problem with reseller hosting is, you have to support your clients. They can't contact the host directly. So as radhika said, it can be a big headache.

    But there are other Reseller hosts like Godaddy that would support your clients directly. I am no big fan of Godaddy, but this is a really good feature for resellers. You just have to sell and collect your proft. They will handle billing, support etc. I am sure there are few more services like that, so Google before you buy.

    If you simply want o host multiple sites in one account and do not want separate cPanel account for all of them, you can do it with any shared hosting.

    if you it's important to bring up that you don't have the choices you once did. The other sites that people are mentioning, hostgator, blue host, host monster, they are all owned by the same parent company. So therefore the issues of one is the policies of all.

    I actually do have a reseller account with hostgator. I didn't buy it to resell, I bought it to have all my websites separately can be worked on by separate people. I really enjoy it, but it's not unlimited like a baby plan. ( isn't that ironic? You pay twice as much and get a fraction of the space .)
