Can you give some more context as to why you are trying to get it ?
I'm curious to know the complete context since it is not clear what is your objective for this

is it for your business or for clients or ?

You really need to explain this. Why do you need insurance?

Public Liability Insurance is aimed at covering you if you are working at a clients office as an example if you damaged one of their computers this insurance covers you.
You do not need Public Liability Insurance for blogging purposes.
If you are blogging about Public Liability Insurance & want to promote an insurer search for Public Liability Insurance Affiliate Programmes.
      Hope this helps.

If I recommend a product after a review and a person goes on to purchase the product and it doesn't work out for whatever reason I essentially don't want to be sued. Its for a my own business not for a client. Does that make more sense?

Write a disclaimer on your site. What you may think is good they may not after they buy it and try to get their money back. State in the disclaimer that once they click on a link and leave your site to go buy a product you are not responsible. That anything on your site is for information purposes and you can't guarantee and don't promise that they will make any money from the info.

Something along those lines. It is stated right there on your site. CYA That should be enough. Check other sites privacy policy and disclaimer pages to get some ideas. Most e-books especially ones that have anything to do with IM or MMO will have some sort of similar statement. I don't think you need insurance on an affiliate site even if you could get it.

Like KevUK said if you are fixing PC's at someones office or something than that's different you should have some kind of liability insurance in that case to protect you and the client from loss damage or injury.
