Question about affiliate link

Hello, warriors,

I have a question about affiliate link.

When I sell clickbank products, after I click through my affiliate link, then I will see something in the url that can identify it is through my affiliate link that visitors come to the merchant's website.

For example, the merchant's website url is www.merchantdomain.com
then if click through my affiliate link, I will see something like this:
www/merchantdomain.com/xxxxxxxxxx and those xxxxxxxxxx just show that it is through my affiliate link visitors come to the merchant website.

Now I am doing CPA and I chose one advertiser's product. But after I add my affiliate link to my website, and after I click through my affiliate link, it just went to a very clean website domain. Like this: www.merchantdomain.com , nothing after that clean merchant domain. so is it all right? How can the advertiser know that it is through my affiliate link that visitors come to their website?

Thanks a lot!

      I see. Thanks Alexa.

BTW, is that your picture? You are very beautiful.

The fact that your ID doesnt show in the URL (after redirect) does NOT mean you are not tracked.

The tracking could be done via browser cookies, in the background without you noticing.
