Paypal is the most used payment processor.

    What are you selling?

I've used before Payza, but generally paypal should satisfy most of your needs.

    Hope that helps.

2Checkout is reliable but tad bit expensive. Had friends turn from Paypal to 2Checkout.

Isn't Payza going through some sort of regulatory issues in America at the moment?

Gumroad sure is great... but can you sell products on your own website using Gumroad? I thought we had to upload them on Gumroad.com and then provide buyers with a link to it... doesn't work quite the same as things work with PayPal, especially with PDT and/or IPN are a requirement.

    For a digital product...

DealGuardian - DealGuardian - It's basically a Clickbank alternative: "We process payments for you. You don't need your own merchant account.

That is right: we process all your sale orders on your behalf so you don't need to use your own merchant account or PayPal account. Then, within as shortly as 10 days, we forward your profits to you via PayPal, check or bank wire (your choice).

No hassle, no headaches, no risks: we process your sales on your behalf, and you get paid just a few days later in one single bundle payment at your convenience.

Our transaction fees are ultra-low: as low as 4.95% + $0.30 per transaction. This is among the most competitive fees in the industry."

    OR

DPD - DPD – Digital Product Delivery | Sell Downloads | Digital Publishing | Sell Downloads, eBooks, and More - Digital Product Delivery can deliver your digital product and process payments from places like Stripe, Authorize.net, SagePay, 2checkout, etc... it's a great solution as DPD takes care of payment processor integration which can be a hassle. I've been using them for years, great service.

Try Payza, it's good. But I will say, Paypal is best.

I don't think there is an alternative payment processor that is as trusted, used and inexpensive as Paypal.

There are some situations where you would use something else. One of them being, if you want to run an affiliate program with multiple tiers, as Paypal only allows one tier of affiliates.

PayPal is always a good payment option for selling digital products. 2checkout did not support digital products at all. So, I don't find any reliable option other than PayPal.

    I use authorize.net and clickbank.

The good part in using clickbank is your customers can still use paypal.
