If a customer request for a refund, just process the refund for them. They will get the refund within 56 days and it's whether you want them to get a refund in happy or angry mood.

To process refund, log into your Clickbank account > Reporting > Transactions.

Search the order with the client email address or sales receipt.

You will see there's a icon like this [R]

    There's refund icon.

If can, just process refund to avoid have extra angry customer. We won't know if the customer is really not satisfy the product or they are just one of the scammer.

Just refund and move on to bring more sales.

You will expect 20 out of 100 sales will have refund in Clickbank. That's common.

    Regards,
    Sean

With respect, if you get a 20% refund rate I would take an honest look at your product. Is it one to provide a solution for the user or to make money?

No way is 20% common, and no way will Clickbank allow it in the long term. It costs them a lot of money to manually process refunds for all merchants.

The only refund rates that reach that level are usually for products that have been created through outsourcing or cobbled together to make a "product"

My refund rate is 2%,and I am not happy with that - I strive for 0%.

I've never seen rates anywhere near that high...I know if you hit 15% that CB will warn you to get it lowered or you risk having your product removed. But I've never even seen double digit refund rates as either a vendor or affiliate...however, I tend to stay away from IM.

Just checked both Clickbank account. I found out that the old account has the icon and the new account just created last few months ago don't have that. Maybe Clickbank made some changes on the new account.

      Just email them at refunds@clickbank.com

Agreed. Stay away from Internet Marketing Niche in Clickbank. Most marketers will buy the product through their own affiliate link.

Other niche product will expect lower refund rate.

If you still have the email you received from CB about the sale, you just forward it to
refunds@clickbank.com. There is a link in the email to make it easy.

10% - 20% can be normal. Especially in IM niche. Because other IMs know they can refund and you can basically NOT do anything about it.

Also..there is a certain percentage of fraud purchases, always.

I like that i have my main product affiliatesitequick set up as an "Online Interface" membership site....so if someone refunds i mark them as "refunded" in Downloadguard and they can not log in anymore

But...well refunds are part of the business, just swallow it.
