Hello warriors,

Can somebody please help me here, I can't seem to find a wordpress WYSIWYG plugin that works. I have tried:

WP Super Edit - Can't get it to work
Wysi-Wordpress from Mudbomb - Can't get it to work

What are you using?

Thanks

  • Awesome thanks will try it
  • I really don't know what's wrong with my wordpress, that plugin also doesn't work. It installed correctly and everything is fine but when I want to write a post all the extra features are not there

WP has already a WYSIWYG editor.. why you need a plugin?

    • You beat me to it...I was about to say the same thing.

Saidar, have you got javascript disabled in your browser?

  • If you feel limited by what WP offers as a WYSIWYG editor, try this WordPress › Dean's FCKEditor For Wordpress WordPress Plugins

And as Colin has pointed out, check your Javascript

    • I 2nd the vote for Dean's FCKEditor.
  • I dealt with the same problem and this plugin here worked best with WP version 2.8.3: WordPress › TinyMCE Advanced WordPress Plugins
  • tinymce is very good, using it on my blog
  • Sounds like you've got a javascript turned off kinda problem. Under your browsers "tools" turn it on.
  • I hope I'm not too far off base here from what you're asking.

Have you tried offline editors like BlogDesk? I used it before and it's not bad. There seems to be growing numbers of these type of tools for the very reason you indicated in your post #7.
