(Best) Blog Launch Strategy

Hi Warriors,

My personal experience with blog exposure is that of a very tight niche, so I didn't see many visitors in the beginning and it still is not much.

I'm thinking of doing a website in the anxiety niche, I'm suffering from it pretty heavily myself at the moment and thinking of sharing what helps/doesn't help me.

Now I see some people here talk about 'only' 1000 visitors in the first months! Man, with my small niche, I'd be happy with that!!

What are your strategies to get a lot of visitors quickly, apart from writing quality content?

I'm thinking of doing this one anonymously.

Cheers!

Use paid advertising. Once you master that, there's no turning back.

PPC is a good idea. But also build an audience on the social medias, like facebook...
because I target the right audience almost half of my traffic is coming from facebook. You can do paid ads on facebook, just 1$ a day and you'll see real improvement if you engage with your audience.

Also, for bloggers I always highly recommend HARO. Check it out... it's a free way to get great PR and a stampede of visitors. Then it's up to you, your content, and your design to turn those visitors into loyal readers. One of my students was just featured on Livestrong.com as a result of HARO.

Highly suggest some video marketing as well. Easy to outsource a video, and with your topic it'll be mainly text-based anyway. Not hard to rank videos and drive traffic to your site. Plus it can come across as a brief 'infomercial' which is common in that niche, so your audience will identify with it.

Thanks everyone, a lot of suggestion I have never used. Will give a try at all of them, maybe it'll grow my other site bigger as well.

I guess I'm more a writer than seller, have to work on that.

If anyone else has good suggestions, they're welcome :-)

If you're not already, I'd suggest that you optimize your blogs for search engines. You don't want to over-optimize -- meaning, stuff the article with keywords as to only cater to Google.

You want to make sure your content provides value to your readers, but it doesn't hurt to do a little research. Researching what information people are searching is a good way to do this.

If you don't have a research tool, you can always type a word in the Google search bar and see what suggestions it gives you. These are phrases people are asking about.

For example, if you type in "anxiety," you'll get phrases like "anxiety disorders," "anxiety symptoms," "anxiety attack," etc. Add a word or two to your search and you'll get more specialized phrases.

      Hope that helps!

Depends on your budget. If low, then connect with social influencers in your niche as well as tap into viral stories/content that potential readers want right now to participate in/read.
