What tools do you make sales funnel?

I have seen several threads around which talk about different types of sales funnels. But can anyone tell me how do you implement them? What tools do you use?

For e.g. When someone makes a purchase (or not) how do you divert them to your other products? Is an auto-responder service enough or you need more tools..

    raunekk - I am a big fan of OptimizePress (Wordpress theme) and OptimizeMember, which is their membership plugin. I use OptimizeMember to create member back-ends, and host most of my files with Amazon S3.

    For the last part of your question, an autoresponder can certainly be "enough," but other tools can definitely help increase conversions (such as a live chat feature, etc.).

    Thanks a lot loaf1011 for the reply..

    I am already using aweber... however, I am not able to figure out how to make upsale/downsale redirects after someone purchases the products...(I do not mean autoresponder sequences), but the page one is redirected to after someone buys the product. I also use e-junkie.

    Is this something that can be controlled from payment gateways such as paypal.??

    Yes... with PayPal buttons you can dictate where the Thank You page is, and you can just set that to your upsell/downsell offer. You can also use exit redirect scripts/Wordpress plugins to send people to a different page as they try to close your website.

      Most email autoresonders, such as Aweber, have that built in. Otherwise, you might want to learn some basic HTML and how to implement simple re-directs.

    Hi raunekk,

    If you set up a number of pages for your sales funnel, and use the redirect after payment on paypal, you can set up a simple sales funnel.
    For example, I have a site where I offer a free report for their email address, a normal squeeze page. If someone signs up, then the redirect page from aweber takes them to an upsell page that has a 'no thank you' button at the bottom, that takes them to their download if they don't want to buy the upsell. If they do buy the upsell, I also have a page that Paypal send them to with another upsell/downsell, or again a 'no thanks' button to go directly to their purchase.
    I hope this gives you an indication of what can be achieved with just Aweber & Paypal.

    You also need a merchant, a way to accept payments. And you need the sales funnel built obviously too if you haven't done so already. Autoresponder definitely and then a way to bring in qualified prospects consistently to the start of your funnel AKA traffic.

    For upsells you have a few options: You could take them to the upsell immediately after they click the order button on your sales page, and then based on whether they choose to buy the upsell or not they go to the right order form.

    Or you could have banners for the upsells in your download area. Also like you said you could just redirect them after payment but then if you're using PayPal they will have to fill out another payment form which will probably hurt conversions.

      I use myself to create sales funnels... all a funnel really is, is selling everything you can re-sell.... I made my own and it does really well for me... there really is no need for tools to accomplish this, all you truly need is a blog/domain of your own... I have people duplicating my style and being successful daily

      You can just use wordpress page. Insert link of the product or affiliate or buy buttons whatever inside those sales funnel page. You can use optimize press or other page pretty tools but you can do it for free.

    Alright I am stuck again. I sell my own products. And these sales funnel thing is not just working. I am using ejunkie with paypal and 2checkout. I tried taking help from paypal but the answer was way too technical for me. I am already selling products
    Through paypal, but i want a person to be redirected to a product D landing page after he has purchased product A, and vice-versa. I am using wordpress for my website and somehow i am not able to figure out how to set this up.

    I like lead pages and Kajabi, they are some of the more pricier options, but they are worth there weight in gold, if you use them right, the cost won't be an issue.

    There are tons of ways to build sales funnel you can use templets like optimize press or tool suites like mlsp. The way I would recommend is to setup posts or pages on your own blog where you give massive value show your subscribers what you use in your business and how it helped you. Put a affiliate underneath or in the post/video or whatever you use) This way you can sell without selling it's more a recommendation.

    I used this way to built a 9 day bootcamp series where I show my subscribers everything they need to know about Internet Marketing and how to get started.
