Just getting started again...

So I came back after a month break because I couldn't get anything to come of what I was doing and was just getting frustrated..

So I got a free trial of Getresponse as I used Aweber in the past.

With getresponse where should I start?

With an opt-in form?

Or do I just create a landing page that already has the subscribe form already embedded?

    A landing page for what?

Truthfully if you don't have a sales funnel in place you shouldn't be worried about opt-ins.

You need a plan, business model, and funnel before thinking about driving traffic to a squeeze page.

I prefer you to start with an optin form but first make a plan that which niche is best for you and what kind of gift you provide and where to buy clicks.

First you need to know which niche you are going to target.

Then you need to find one or a few affiliate programs that you like.

And lastly, it would be better if you put up an opt in form and then follow up with your subscribers anytime you want. You can send them new offers or you can follow up with one single program that you really like and pays good commissions.

It might be a good idea to first figure out what you want to achieve before
you start playing around with tools.

Getresponse is a tool. That tool helps you to create and maintain
    a list of subscribers.

Before you start to build a list you have to figure out what
the purpose of that list should be.

    What is your niche?
What is your product or service?
Do you want to sell something?
Do you want to offer a service or advice?

Once you have a pretty good idea what you want to achieve then
you can start to figure out all that list building stuff.

Your first plan is to pick your niche. Then move on with a gameplan. Figure out how you'll get your opt ins and what you'll send them. Write everything up and figure out how to incorporate all of your affiliates into your email blasts, etc. it really is a lot of work. If it were easy, everyone would do it.
