Newbie looking for advice on my Blog

Hi, i just came across warrior forum and was looking for some advice. I have my own blog which ive been running for about 3 years now (but only been posting and taking it seriously for the last year). Ive only used up till now as a hobby as im really passionate about all areas of the topic. Today i showed it to a friend and he said that it had potential to earn money if i did some work to the website, so im wondering if i can get some advice if people think it has potential to earn and what work i should do to the website to make this possible? I was also wondering if people recommend i migrate the website to wordpress? Im very new to this and up until now the money didn't even cross my mind, so if i could get some pointers in the right direction i would really appreciate it,

    Hey man. Just saw your blog and it has a nice view.

    What I recommend you is to set up CPA (Cost Per Action) networks on your page. If you don't know what this is, it's simply getting paid $X amount of money every time some one signs up for a free trial of a recommended product.
    Try to find the way out on how to link your website with this kind of offers and you will definitely start making money.

    What are you currently hosting the blog on?

    AdSense seems to be the most basic and "passive" way to earn money through your blog. All it requires is for you to put up a few banner ads on your site and you're done. As people come onto your site and click the ads you earn money.

    However, there's less return in that than other methods such as affiliate marketing and advertising affiliated products through ClickBank or Amazon. But it really depends what your blog is about.

      He said that hes currently using blogger and also wanted to know if its better to migrate it to wordpress if he wants to monetize the website, this is something im also interested in knowing too as im in a similar situation.
