  • anybody know this - when you are setting up your blog?
  • It should redirect to your feed, which has been incorporated into your Feedburner feed -- you can login to your Feedburner account, apply your original feed from your blog and covert it into Feedburner's feed, then point your RSS button to the convered one.

    • I could be wrong Takuya but I think he means where is his feed on bjmin101.com ad the RSS icon redirects to the blog and doesn't expose the feed.

BJ - Your actual feed can be found at this link:
      BJMin101.com

You can link to that and then people can subscribe to your blog direct.

You can register that link with Feedburner and promote the URL they give you either and this will give you analytics built in.

      All the best,
      Tom
  • yes, but when i click on that RSS link on my blog,
    it leads to nowhere...

in addition, at feedburner, they can't validate the rss link
    on that blog...

any ideas on how to fix this? should i have to do
something with FTP...or should i fix it inside wordpress admin?
  • obrient...how did you find it?

i guess there are many rss feed links on that site...dont know which one to pick...
is there a WP plugin for rss feed on wordpress?

  • BJ,

If you're running a current version of WordPress and you have permalinks enabled and working (see post above, you seem to have a problem with your permalinks), your feed addresses are yourdomain.com/feed/ for RSS 2.0 feed, yourdomain.com/feed/rss/ for RSS 0.92, and yourdomain.com/feed/atom/ for Atom 0.3 feed.

Where to find them? Whoever designed your theme added the required <link> tags in the header. When browsers parse the page, they become aware that a feed is available, and most put an icon in or around the address bar. You can see these tags by pulling up your blog in your browser and viewing the page source.

For Feedburner, you're going to want to use the RSS 2.0 feed address. Feedburner also sponsors a WordPress plugin that directs ANY feed request to your Feedburner account. Look for it under the Publicize (I think) tab in your Feedburner account.
  • yes, htaccess was recently changed...

any easier simple solutions to make my blog links work?
(currently they are all going back to index.htm)

so all the links work? (should i reinstall the WP theme)?
  • i got it fixed...

here's how i did it just in case if people go through too...

just go to your blog SETTINGS
    click on PERMALINKS

    - switch it and SAVE

and it will correct your htaccess...

    thanks for your comments anyways...

    • Glad you got it figured out. That's always the first step when permalinks aren't working on a WP blog.
