$106.72 to be exact. I had never promoted ClickBank products on my site and thought someone buying a $47 eBook was far fetched (The other $60 of the $106 actually came from two upsells!)

My primary method of monetizing my blog has been AdSense but I gotta say ClickBank is now definitely a staple of my monetization strategy.

  • Congratulations! Remember too that there are many other affiliate
programs other than Clickbank. Matching your blog with the perfect
niche targeted quality product/s should see your profits grow.

    Good luck!

    • Yep, that's how it starts. Now let's see how far you can take this
(my first sale was a $47 CB product as well )
  • I was never able to get a sale via ClickBank but have sold affiliate products via Amazon Associates this far.
  • Congratulations! Just keep at it and as david said there are many more different affiliate programs.
  • Congratulations! Well done! It keeps motivated, isn't? Just carry on.
  • Congratulations! great motivation for newbies ..keep going
  • Congratulations... if you are able to sell a Clickbank product I believe you can sell an affiliate product on ANY other platform lol. Time to scale it up.
  • Hi, i'm new here and really wanted to know if some of you made some money not with a page or blog but only by submiting link's?? Thanks.
  • I have to admit I've never been able to sell a CB product before and not for lack of trying. I do fine with adsense, software, amazon and higher end physical products though.

CB does have very good commission rates though.

    • Congratulation and well done. Seems to be that you are doing well. As others suggested you can actually get onto other affiliate site where you can register and promote several other products.

You never know you might be able to make more.

      Regards,
      ss
  • Good stuff. You've done it once and I'm sure you can do it again. Rinse and repeat is the secret. Try building you list so that you can also build a relationship in that niche, and gradually introduce them to other products that are related and could be interesting to them.
  • Congrads!

Nothing like a sale to motivate you!
  • Fantastic, it's a great motivator isn't it! It also shows that you are doing something right and that's a good thing.

    • Well Done - if you can do it once you can do it again and again!!

You might be aware Clickbank have a minimum sales level you need to achieve before you can actually get at your cash. It is called "minimum distribution requirement" and requires 5 sales by at least 2 of the payment methods it lists (e.g visa, paypal, maestro and others)

Nothing to worry about, and you only have to pass their threshold once.

(Apparently it is meant to deter people from buying products through their own links )

      Kind regards
  • That's awesome! Congratulations! It is really nice to get a sale like that because it really motivates you to take it to the next level. And, remember that if you can sell 1, you can sell 100. Just keep at it. Good Luck.
  • If you can create a product which presents a solution to a common problem, then many folk will easily pay $47 for an eBook or any other product.

The more 'niche' the niche, the better the chances of getting sales as folk are always searching the web for products that can meet their demands - and could come across your site/product link.

  • Congrats! For Your Success. I have never get success in clickbank, But Shareasale works for me like charm
  • Awesome work! One thing you have going for Clickbank is the "mostly" high commission rates. Just make sure it is a quality product and a decent sales page but looks like you have an awesome start.
  • Congrats brother.
  • Congratulations on this, that's my goal for the moment; I'm trying to make my first sale and i'm looking forward to get this feeling. I'm sure that it is very motivating, isn't it?
Carry on, you're doing it right!

  • Good job.I am striving for my first sale.Keep up the good work.
  • Way to go.

Most people who try internet marketing never make a dime no matter how hard they try. This is a sad fact to be honest.

You should be proud of yourself. Good job.
  • Congrats to your sale Here is to many more!!
  • Congratulations! Cheers to more! Keep up the good work.
  • well done, keep up the good work!

  • nice keep it up
  • I know that feel, I've solde my first product this friday after 3 months of trying every free technique on the net, but I'm switching to paid methods
I can say that strikes boost your motivation, Congra' man and keep it up.
  • Congrats! I would definitely suggest trying Amazon. They pay you a commission for *any* product someone buys within a 24 hour period (or as long as the cookie exists) after coming through your affilliate link , which is very nice.
  • I know that good feeling, but remember the refund rate on clickbank products
are very high. I hope the product you are selling is not one of them.
  • Now just rinse and repeat and scale! Do it once do it twice, do it again and again!
  • Great Job! Goes to show you that a small test can turn profitable. Keep testing!
